Iñaki was trying to do a joke to Jacob, it's a common joke here in Mexico for the guy that are celebrating the birthday and having a birthday cake (I don't know if it is common in other countries of LATAM), the idea of the joke it's that, after blewing out the candles and making a wish, the guy celebrating is requested to do a bite to the cake and another person (commonly a really good friend or a relative or even sometimes a random person) smash their face into the cake, this destroyed part of the cake is separated and given to the birthday person (sometimes, an entire fake birthday cake is reserved just to do the joke the person).
