After spending three weeks at home in Germany it was time for me to return to southeast Asia, return to Malaysia. I had a long traveling day with a transit in Istanbul and after arrival at the airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia the situation got really bad for me at the immigration counter...

Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Germany, Malaysia... some of these are Golden Triangle for drug production and distribution. Malaysian immigration is tough on drug. Carrier will get death penalty by hanging.

Glad that everything was settled, including your bag which arrived safely after a day/24 hours of journey. Hi Ken, welcome back to Malaysia. Oh, you are staying at Hilton Garden Inn, Puchong, nearby my place actually. Next to the hotel there is 1010Grocer Mart and that place also selling food. Or else since you like roti canai, you might walk a few minutes to Syed Bistro Restaurant next to the Puchong Perdana LRT Station. There are plenty of mamak food in that restaurant and the Teh Tarik is superb.

This sometimes happens when one travel to many countries within a period of time and also because you were in Malaysia just a few weeks ago and now returning. That probably triggered ‘red flag’. Just a normal process to verify authenticity of a traveller.

Agree, the Immigration officer was "suspecting" that the visitor might be working illegally in the country for a short period of time and left for other countries and now returned. That was why the officer also checked his KZbin videos to verify. This shows that the officer was doing his job responsibly instead of being a Rubber Stamp Machine.
