Used to do alot of bream fishing in the swan river. My go to back was to collect crabs that hide under the rocks on the shore line. My best bream was a 49.9cm specimen.

Nice vid mate. The bream has fat guts this time of year because it is more than likely full of roe/milt as they're getting ready to spawn, always consider putting them back in the spring time. Tight lines.

Great video mate. It takes 12 years for a bream to reach 33cm. 20 years for 38cm. They are a nice table fish and fun to catch. Love ya work

I use a #4 circle hook for bait fishing. The fish have not swallowed the hook & all have been released without damage. However, the 32cm Tailor I caught yesterday was not so fortunate & was invited home for tea. Grilled. Delicious. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, always a leader when braid is on the spool. About 10 15 lb is heaps for bream

It was full of small river mussels..must've been feeding well on them..and unfortunately she had eggs.

@@FishTuckerMan honestly don't feel bad you only took one I work on a black bream restocking program in mandurah and in the last 3 years have taken 100 or so broodstock for research I'm picking up 2000 to 3000 larvae black bream on Monday from Murdoch to look after here in mandurah for release at the end of the year

If ur fishing for bream and catch them over 30 ish u should let them go. There the breeders, that fish would of been 30 years old

Swan River is pretty well stocked with bream it has good recruitmentwith young fish coming through taking one won't damage any breeding stocks mandurah on the other hand the Murray and serpentine are in bad shape in regards to bream not many at all no little ones barely any broodstock
