This song really helped me get through probably one of the most darkest and probably one of the most scariest moments in my life. As at that time I was facing the breakup from my first serious relationship. And I have to say that it was pretty rough especially since I had never previously gone through something so scary and disappointing before. And I felt pretty torn apart and utterly hopeless because of this. I mean, the girl I had loved so much and so truly for so long had just dumped me flat on my very face. And this was the same girl who had said and promised me that we would be together forever. And I just didn't know how to handel it or even what to think of it when it happened. For the first true time in my life I was utterly and truly scared senseless and didn't know what to do or even which way to turn. I even felt suicidal most of the time and often found myself with the idea of taking my own life and ending it all. And then I was in the car traveling down the road one day while my sister was driving and we had the radio on. Then all of a sudden right out of the blue this song just started playing. And as it was playing it suddenly grabbed my attention. And I felt this presence just sort of suddenly rush over me. And I was okay again for once in my life. It was like all my worries, sorrows, and burdens that I had previously had suddenly had all just been washed away completely from my life all together. And it was truly amazing but yet I couldn't believe what had just happened and taken place from inside of me. Because I went from this person who had once been weak and scared to a person who was now strong and brave again. But I have to say that I think if it had not been for this song that none of this would have ever happened to me to begin with. As this song allowed me to truly feel the power of God within my life as the person I was. And I am still very thankful for that because if it hadn't been for that who knows I probably wouldn't even still be living here in this world today. Now that's truly a God given miracle.

Remembering Eddie Middleton today. This wonderful man who had been a witness to us many years ago. The front man for New Song from 1981-1994. My wife and I were involved with a ministry on the Alabama Gulf Coast that brought in contemporary Christian music acts to our area. We had brought in the original New Song many times at least a half a dozen times, to the area. This is back when Eddie Middleton and the late Bobby apon were with the band. At that time there were four members. Eddie is resting with the Lord today. Please pray for his family and loved ones who have been left behind thank you.
