The second duel reminded me of when Sky Striker was a more popular deck in the ladder, to the point I was adding Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos to every deck I played that had a monster that was level 7 or higher. Sky Striker usually doesn't have an out to a monster that can be targeted or destroyed, and keeps getting bigger every turn.

Funnily enough i've tried 6 different types of EP decks, Runick, Diabelle engine, frightfur poly engine, synchro engine with kash and stardust, pure and even a small world going second and surprisingly the going second deck did the best - literally consistency out the wazoo when you can bridge a kaiju into the lvl 1

Harmonic Synchro Fusion is such a cool card but oh man neither monster being properly summoned hurts it so much. Would be so cool if you could recycle baron to bring back dragostapelia or something to get back into baron but it usually just doesn't line up. Instead of marcher I think Shamisen Samsara Sorrowcat is a cute quick synchro that can also recycle something. Can go for a Gryphon with Freki and bring back groundskeeper and against some decks they just can't get through defense position earthbounds after they break your first board. Runick Ghoti is almost assuredly better, but man this deck is so cool.
