When I really grasp that Jesus is my everything, that He alone will meet every need and desire, I believe I experience more holiness. More completeness. Hello, Sherry! 😊 I didn’t purchase this Bible Study book at the time you were starting it, however I have watched your videos and have enjoyed each one. So much good food for thought…and of course it is because it’s God’s Word. ✝️ I love how you teach these scriptures with love and encouragement. I find sometimes I wake up and even though I can’t remember “what” I dreamed, it seems I start the morning feeling “down.” But, that is a trick of our enemy the devil to steal our joy and make us feel God doesn’t care. I will get some of God’s Word in me…listen to a teaching if there is time. 🌺 I’m remembering how you and your husband, Vince are making it a habit to say…PRAISE THE LORD! ♥️🙌 You make a difference! I love 2 timothy 1:7. That is my verse. I clung to it in my 30s when I was struggling with overwhelming fears & I prayed it often. I really love the KJV version because it says God gives us a 'sound mind'. When we're overwhelmed with fear we do not have a sound mind. I'm so grateful that focusing on God's word gives me a sound mind & dims fears.

I just love your messages and your demeanor which reminds me of the lovely Christian folks I was around in my childhood on the mission field and our extended family in Tennessee. I’m still active in my church but times have changed and the narrow road is not too popular.

Sherry I loved all you shared on Chp 4. So many wonderful points in this chapter. I know I tend to over think at times and let fear take over. This whole chapter spoke to me. Day 1 reminding me that God gives us power, love, self-discipline. NOT FEAR! Day 2: Reminds me that I must focus my thoughts on the positive and virtuous things that guide us towards a mindset filled with goodness and peace. Day 3: Reminds me to Align my thoughts, attitude, and perspective with the Lord’s truth and His Word. Day4: Reminds me to immerse myself in his word and seek to live according to his guidance. Meditate on his word. ❤ Day 5: Reminds me to set my mind on the eternal and my Savior; not the earthly. The day I finished Day 5 we were going through Hurricane Milton and I just kept my mind on Jesus and he truly kept me calm in the storm. What a mighty God we serve and perfect timing for this study. Praise the Lord.

You know it always amazes me that no matter how many years I have been a Christian GOD is still teaching me so much. Whatever would we do without our faith? I need HIM every second. I would like to share with yall a book I found. It's not a Bible study but when I wasn't looking for it GOD put it in my path. It's called 100 puzzles. Mornings & Evenings of Grace by Charles H. Spurgeon. I found it at Publix on the Choice books rack. It was 12 .99. It has scripture and a word by Mr. Spurgeon and then a woŕdsearch. I know this doesn't have anything to do with what we are doing but I've enjoyed it so much I had to share it. Hope yall have a wonderful weekend.😊

Wow!!! Sherry this is such an important and valuable video and what we all really need to hear. The world is struggling so much with issues of the mind and mental health and it is really making a major attack on the children of today. I love how you said to start your day with the words, "Praise The Lord". I need to remember that because waking up in praise and love for my Savior is a wonderful way to start every day. I have certain areas that I still struggle with but I see how the Lord is working with me and in me to change me to be more of what is pleasing to Him. How blessed we are to be loved so much by our Creator that He only wants us to be better than we are. I have even gotten to the place where I can even thank Him for the storms and the struggles in my life because I know they help to bring me even closer to Him. Thank you again for all that you do and for your words or encouragement and wisdom. May God continue to bless you in all ways each and every day. Hugs to you my dear sweet friend!!! 🤗💖🤗💖🤗

Thank you, Sherry. I needed to hear that. I was just asking God to forgive me for being fearful. I have been watching too much about what's going on in the world ( especially our country). It's enough to make you want to run & hide. But I know whatever happens, God is in control. Whatever bad happens, He will bring us through it. That is if He doesn't save us from it. Spending time outside always helps. God has given us such a beautiful world to enjoy. God bless you, lovely lady. I see Jesus in you.
