So refreshing to hear honesty and truth regarding the pain of loving addicts. Jesus delivered me 40years ago of many addictions and yet I get attracted to other addicts and the emotional pain is enormous…. I found Al-Anon very helpful throughout the years I feel like giving you a warm hug and also pray your son will be delivered. He (Jesus) seeks the lost sheep 💜 Leave us 99 who are ok to seek the broken and the lost God is so good 🌸

I just discovered your channel. When i write scripture, I like to do one verse at a time. Then I look up the hebrew or greek meanings, maybe look at commentaries. There have been times I was surprised what the scripture was actually saying. Thank you for sharing your wisd9m.

I just love listening to your videos. Your voice is so soothing!!! I have used to SOAP method a few times but love to verse map. I just purchased a verse mapping journal and hope to start that as soon as I get it. It helps me get a deeper meaning of the verses. That is a great idea using index cards to write out verses and keep them close. I found a new pack of index cards in my stash of supplies. Just need to get a box to keep them in. Thanks for the great idea!!!

Hi Sherry so wonderful to see you again😊 I have used the Soap method before and found it worked well. Right now I am reading a book called Prayers For a Woman’s Soul by Julie Gillies. I have had it for a long while. It has topics and scriptures and prayers for 52 weeks. You reminded me. I could use the Soap method to study the verse along with meditating on it.❤️🤗

Scripture writing reminds me of my Grammy. When I was a kid, we would go and visit her and she always slipped me a little piece of paper with a scripture verse on it. I will never forget that. Great video!

I used to write out scripture in calligraphy, or with gel pens, stopped due to outside influence, just started it again. I am now tea dying paper, making my own journal and writing out scripture with gel pens again. I also used pretty napkins to decorate a corner of a page, cutting out a motif and sticking it onto the page. It's a wonderful way to be creative while connecting with our Father

Oh the timing of this! Where were the bats when you needed them in the crawl space 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 We went from snow on Memorial day to 100° the next week and it has stayed there. It's 105 today. My entire vegetable garden just gave up the ghosts in one day. The crickets, box elder bugs and deer are devouring everything. Soo crazy

Moses didn't see Gods face only His back, so we don't see God coming and being God but we sure see where He has been. Hindsight to me is that awesome revelation when the pieces fall into place and we see we were not abandoned. I haven't see my son for 3years, not an addict (although my sister was) he just married with two children who I don't see, it's a long painful story. I can understand your pain of not knowing, also the moments when it hits like a train and I also sob, he is my only child. I thank you for your honesty, your dedication to Jesus and being mindful through your heartbreak of Gods work, if I am thankful then I imagine the Lords face is shining bright upon you. Look at me here twice in one day, this also came on recommendations, think I should subscribe now, perhaps also keep my comments shorter.
