FOR THOSE SEARCHING FOR A REAL COPY OF ANY GEN 3 GBA GAMES! the 4 squares on the back can easily be faked now so here are some other ways to check for reals and fake like explained in the video, at the top right corner of the sticker you'll see a square indent on the inside of the cartridge most carts mess up the "gameboy advance" logo at the top, always check the thickness and depth of the text and compare to a real one lastly the sticker on the front is usually a big give away, most fakes miss 1 or 2 details and fake will rarely ever have a holographic sticker that has the same shine/design as the originals (emerald has a shattered/crystal holo effect) just make sure to anyone looking for one to do research, as even the points ive made here may eventually be able to also be faked in time

I also decided to make a Living Pokedex when I heard they were closing down PokeBank on the handheld system, but I didn't go so far as to catch them in their original games. As a result I basically emptied out all my boxes from the games that were Bank compatible, then traded them up. I also did the same with all the Switch compatible games and dumped them all into boxes so I wouldn't have to keep looking between games. After that is was a mostly simple matter of scanning the search function until I found what Pokemon I had and organizing them accordingly; occasionally traded them back into the Switch games for breeding purposes. There were a few Pokemon I didn't have, mostly from Black/White, so I had to go around and catch as many as I could (even had to start a new game to get the second form of Snivy). Long story short it took about a week to organize everything, then realized I somehow missed a string of about 5 Pokemon, so had to reorganize again, bought a few event Pokemon like Melmetal and Meloetta off ebay, and then made sure I had all the regional variations for good measure.

@@siloette_ Mainly it's just making sure you clear enough space. I should have stored all my Pokemon going from the last box back and started the living dex from the first box going forward. Plus the Pokemon Home search function isn't the greatest, so each input takes awhile to find. Eventually I figured out it was faster to hit search, then use the National Dex Order option, then just remember the next few boxes the Pokemon I needed were in (like "Vulpix is in Box 189, and a Ninetales is in Box 180).

I used to play pokemon blue and crystal back in the day, but it took until now for me to get back into pokemon. Anyway i started playing scarlet and it lit a fire in me to complete a living dex. So I decided to invest in buying a 3DS, all the games and bank, i still haven't got original gen 4 and 3, but i got the remakes. So far i Have completed a living dex of Gen 9, 1 and just finished 2, so i am off to play omega ruby. For event mythicals, i Have to trade with people online. Edit: i also paid £80 for a pokeball plus on ebay just to get a mew with a "came from kanto" on it's info in home lol

I have a nearly completed form dex with gens 1-7 all shiny, besides certain legndaries without legit shinies. Living dex is done except pecharunt and I already have the berry downloaded on two files so I can get at least two on my own. Didn't know certain flower pokemon or minor had so many forms, but I do have all vivillion, all legit.

Not counting Paldea, I still have a few Pokémon left to make a complete living Dex in Home. With Kanto I’m only missing four which I can get easily from the Let’s Go games and older games. The rest are somewhat easy to find and obtain.

Im only missing the event pokemon from the switch games. My living dex lives on my home account. I had to complete it twice because i had alot of them on one of my games and i had to factory reset my switch which erased all of the pokemon from sinnoh. I had to catch every single pokemon from legends arceus then trade on home to het the others luckily i had a huge store house of legendaries.

483 out of 493 for my gen 4 living dex so the goal is very close. The catch is that out of the 9 Pokemon that I'm missing there is the Stunky line and it's only available in Diamond soooo now my search is in the real world i guess. Good luck with your search man

Same I want to try I did get slowed down a cupple months ago when my switch files got deleted due to me wanting to upgrade my sd card and it turned out I bought a fake 1tb card and it corrupted everything but I finally have all of them beat except arceus and that will be done in no time I’m more than half way done with the xy pokedex and then I’ll trade everything to home it’s been a long journey made longer and I can’t wait to make more head way

I’ve been (kinda) working on my living dex. Only stipulations being no hacks, no gens, all my OT. I say *kinda* because I’ve really only organized it so far. Which I need to redo, because I fucked up. I haven’t started actually filling my missing slots yet. But according to home I have registered 945 already! So that’s a good start. But I know for sure I can’t fully complete it yet. As I don’t have a few mythicals with my OT. I have them, just not my OT. They’re event mons which won’t be part of my living dex. I still keep them, as they’re legitimate. But they’re not *mine* . And that’s how I’m doing it. I’m not doing a full form dex. But for Pokémon such as shaymin and deoxys, I am doing their forms. So it really depends. I may or may not do minior. Depends on my mood. But alcremie? Hell nah. Hipopotas I’ll probably do as those are different enough. But it’s such a pain organizing them all… especially now with how laggy home has become.

I dont care where they come from. So long as they are legitimate. I do have a living dex with a huge amount of shiny collection but im not mad enough to collect each Pokemon from the original game where they debuted. I also have a bunch of shinies caught from a game/region where they didnt debut. For example my Shiny Milotic caught from Y version which is currently ib my Pokemob Violet now. As of the time of this comment Pokemon SV DLC Part 2 hasnt been released yet. I have each and every single Pokemon that exist including the Part 1 DLC of Pokemon SV, Meltan, Melmetal and all the other mythicals. All caught legitimately. However, as I have mentioned before. Most of them did NOT come from the original games/region where they debuted. Thats just too insane bro. In this time and age, getting original products of old retro games just to get a common Pokemon like a damn Zigzagoon from OG Hoenn of RSE is costly and counter productive.

You are almost as crazy as I am. I am doing it but I'm banning myself out of remakes. No fire red or heart gold or let's go for me, good old ruby and saphire and the virtual console gen 1 and 2. You will see that transfering gens is a pain in the ass though. I'm stalling on gen 5 at the moment. I skipped gen 5 back then and I really don't have the nostalgia to carry me through playing gen 5 four times, did it twice already.

@@siloette_ even I store all pokemon that came from RBY and GSC the ribbon if you are collecting also a ribbon it will be less since you can't transfer them in FRLG, RSE, HGSS, DPPt, BW, B2W2, XY, and ORAS the only version that can be allow to transfer is SM, USUM and above see those game FRLG to ORAS how many ribbon that certain pokemon miss that why I start in FRLG even if we follow the original rule when making National Dex it will start in RBY I included also BDSP I don't store any pokemon here since they are just remake on DPPt LA(Legend Arceus) you need to play the other pokemon that the only way to evolve in Hisuin form and other I only accept those pokemon that PKHeX detect as legal for example if you try to fight me the Arceus from Platinum is not legal but you can transfer it in PokeHome with no issue why is not legal cause the Azure Flute is not intented to release if you just glitch, cheat or hack it will not detect as legal there lots stuff in DPPt that not release item even in Japanese version since my is Shiny National Dex is very hard cause I need to use other method like RNG manipulation and other stuff to get a good perfect IV's specially in colo and xd Japanese version and English they are pretty time consume
