I Am Running A Social Experiment in Minecraft (You Can Join!)

"State" is social experiment in nation building. It will take place in Minecraft.
There are four states, and you are randomly assigned to one. Each state will have one dominant biome-grass, desert, snow, jungle.
Once we begin, you will be spawned into your biome with the rest of your state citizens. You will then have the freedom to do anything-gather resources, build a village, elect a leader, decide rules, give your nation a name, etc.
Each day, you will only have one hour to play. The Minecraft server will only be up from 7pm EST to 8pm EST everyday. However you can still communicate with your team 24/7 with this Discord server.
The server is hardcore. If you die, you die forever.
In the first few days, there will be borders between the states. Later, the borders will open, and citizens will be able to cross into each others' territories. War is not required, but it is a strategy for becoming the most dominant state.

You should make a second generation! Or make a new map with more biomes. That would be great, and I would totally join if I a can. Edit: I just thought of this, but instead of a new map, since it's a new generation you should just add new islands and leave the old ones as it shall be history of another time!

I have an idea for a future experiment. You place 100 players inside a town, give them jobs they need to do to keep the town running (Power station, police ,shop keepers ETC) let them do their thing for awhile and then add zombies into the mix (Zombies that kill in one hit, and can break blocks and tower up) The idea is that the players will stop going to work and their society they built will crumble and anarchy will rein. DON'T TELL THEM THERE WILL BE ZOMBIES. LET THEM FIGURE IT OUT ON THEIR OWN

We had extensions on some days, and on one of the days we had a designated "build day" where peaceful was turned on and we had 3 hours to build, but yeah, most days were an hour.
