My battle with drug addiction brought me to my knees. I was losing my wife, my daughter, and my son. My wife had the landlord change out the lock. My key wouldn't work, so I knocked on the door and she opened it and said I can't put me and the kids through this anymore. I told her 4 words, I need some help. I met with a priest Father John, and he found NA for me. I've been going every since, 1986. God was leading from behind back then, and now we are one. My wife loved me enough to forgive me and we have 4 beautiful grandchildren. Thank You God for my scars. They led me to You.

This song... words cannot describe what I am feeling right now. I gave up on God as a child. I struggled with severe depression and anxiety, and a type of addiction for the last 13 years of my life. I went through an abusive relationship. I found the strength to open my heart to Jesus about 6 months ago. And oh man how my life has changed. God, you are my rock, you are my strength, you gave me these scars so that I may come back to You. I am still healing, but it is possible, thanks to the Lord.

You have no idea what this song just did to me, I mean really. My scars are still healing, my addiction spanned over 10 years and about to be sober August 20th for 5 years, that's right, 5 years. It took the Glory of God to speak these few words "Stop I Love You" 5 years ago. His very words saved my life, Thank you Lord for saving me and Thank you for the scars you love, because you love me!!!o I'll be singing this to the roof tops. Thank you for your obedience and writing and singing this song ❤❤❤

Don't try to fight your fights alone, pray for help and help will come to you. We often try to live our lives as we like to and we are just waiting for God to approve. Instead we should try to live our lives in the path that God wants us to go. Many times that path is hard. But we should try to overcome it with Jesus. I was on youth conference this month and the theme was #follow(#nasleduj in Slovak which is where i'm from). In intro video they said this: God doesn't have mobile, but we can still speak to Him. He doesn't have Facebook, but we can still be friends with Him. He doesn't have Twitter, but we still can follow Him... Under any circumstances.
