Grammar ❤️ I'm above 40. Learning Polish lately. I don't find that more difficult than 20 years ago. For me the key is motivation. If I get things done, if I take time to revise my vocab etc, it'll be fine and I'll make progress. I started English at school like most French. I was good enough, but I really made progress (in terms of communication) when I went abroad and had to do without French. I started learning Danish at uni, and continued when I was in Denmark. I find that having people to talk to really helps. But age doesn't really matter to me.

If you already speak French, Portuguese, and Spanish I would think that the biggest problem in learning Italian is the interference of the other languages, especially Spanish. Do you find that a problem?
