Ibuprofen hard on your liver. Avoid if possible. Avoid Tylenol same reason. Asprin after drinking. Cheers!

I don’t know what you are talking about tiger thiccc. I got bum drunk off it and it destroyed me. Well worth the 800 bucks.

If you do another video like this, I'd love to know how you can get into tasting complexities in whiskey. I can tell whether I like something or not, but have no idea as to where to begin in terms of noticing the distinct tastses that might be in it. Great video B, you've earned a week off the dishes

I did a bit of that in Part 1 which you can see here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYvOl6ZjpM59p6M, but I was actually thinking about some of the techniques I use that I could get into in more detail, so I might give that it's own video.

Great videos! Would be cool to see 3 or 4 affordable recommendations across the spectrum of taste that we could start with to find out what flavor we prefer. Thanks

Edd, I ask this for the pweebles and not myself... But can you talk about peat and peated whiskey? Tell us about the process, about the global whiskey makers that use it... and what the difference is between a young peaty whisky like kilchoman's machir bay vs a more mature peated whiskey like ardbeg 19 or laphroaig 25.

I can definitely do that!

For a hangover, a banana and a shower help open up your pores. Granted only 10% of the poisons are eliminate through sweat but it's the 10% you can assist.

Hahaha. You know I was just thinking about the "worst enemy" question and I realized that the whiskies I'd give to my worst enemies are also the ones I've foisted on my friends for laughs.

Careful about drinking a ton of water when drunk right before sleeping. You might wake up in a puddle that Eddigo made in your bed. 😂

I am a bourbon guy, I usually prefer 6-8 years old. It's usually aged enough to get some flavors and rid some of the ethanol tastes. After 8 years it tends to be way too oaky for my taste.
@TheRotgutReview2 жыл бұрын
I think 6 to 8 years is a great age for bourbon, at least in Kentucky, you're certainly right that it can get over oaked very quickly after that point. I generally like my ryes a little younger than my bourbon, 6 years is the oldest I like. Young rye is nice and spicy but young corn distillate has a weird yew-y note that I'm not a fan of.

Yeah age statement is only one part of the puzzle. Example Balenive 21>Balvenie 40.

I have a fetishization about Edd and all things Edd Also, I agree entirely, people equate age with quality, and from my perspective, that's not necessarily true, age = different
