I applied online, so that's always an option :) Otherwise, some agencies have 'open calls' which happen usually once a week, they're open to everyone, and you go into their HQ, and can talk to them in person and potentially get scouted. Good luck girl 💘

I’m going to an open call next week and it says to wear flat shoes. And I’m confused should I still bring heels? And what do they mean by flat shoes like can I wear vans or something?

It would be fine because only certain types of modelling have height requirements(such as runway)but even if you dont meet the requirements they might still want you for other types like editorial or commercials

I work in advertising and hire models; we need models who fit the clothing sample sizes, including “plus” sizes (hate that term). But if you have a great look & charisma yet don’t fit the clothing, there are other options, eg jewelry, random stock photography like business office or real estate, restaurants /casual settings. If your dream is to become a high fashion runway model then no, unfortunately, that’s extremely limited and difficult to crack for most of us mere mortals. Best of luck!!
