I'm thinking how great it would be now if Hirez put out their own questionnaire that's got basically the same questions but with 100,000 responses from people all across different parts of the smite community, and people who formerly played smite but are on break etc

@@nathaniellockhart120 A few mages right now should have an instant movement ability. It’s not newcomer friendly to have the gods you play in mid have no movement abilities besides movement stims. It’s harder for new players to gauge when they are out of position. That will fix it for mid laners in my opinion. Scylla, Discordia, Janus (even tho harder to play), maybe even Tiamat for experimenting with the new engine.

Fairly accurate list but overall it feels like recency bias. A lot of older gods(who tend to have been the more popular and favored choices) are the favorites to come back, but we can argue that they are the ones in need of more changes than the more recent gods, like Nut and Maman. Personally, I’ve been loving the changes in Smite 2 to a lot of the older gods. They feel refreshed as opposed to obsolete

I don’t mind it. He’s fun at all levels with just an enjoyable kit to use. Not super strong due to his lack of mobility and inability to one shot. I also think that assassins in general will have some of the lower scores because so many are awful to play against if the wielder is the best player in the lobby. I was hoping to see Awilix in the bottom 5 tbh, featherstep is one of my least favourite abilities in the game

Nah with Sol already in the game another mage adc is too much so soon. Ao Kuang I’m surprised wasn’t in the bottom 5 tbh, super abusive to play against when in the right meta, one of those gods who is either trash or oppressive never in between

With their willingness to release two Gods at once in smite 2, I think they can get a lot more hype around some of these Gods with good marketing and can get some more juice out of unpopular gods that way. How about an update themed around Scylla and Charybdis? Or an Osiris vs set release? They could expand this with new Gods, too. Release Medusa and introduce Perseus as a new God. I think it’s a missed opportunity to release Gods seemingly at random. New players aren’t watching the update shows, get some trailers and ads around new god releases.

i think the only reason why Ra isn’t in the game yet is that they’re giving him a model redesign. i think people forget how outdated Ra’s character model is, especially when comparing him to the other Egyptian animal gods like Anubis, Sobek, Thoth, Set, Horus, etc.

IMO a lot of the picks change if they get a rework as necessary. Like baka and bake probably need reworks, so if they are getting those then I would want them pushed up in priority. If we're just talking standard smite 2 god treatment, then they can come in last

Hot Take: Wukong shouldn't be added early. With the popularity of Black Myth Wukong, sure, SMITE can ride that hype but he has two abilities that are just smacking his staff around. I think they should cook a new ability for him (maybe make his 1 like his 3 where you target near for the circle and target far for the line) AND release him with a reworked Erlang Shen (come on, it's obvious he needs a rework).

I don't think swk needs to change much. He has been one of the most consistently well balanced gods in all of smite history (sometimes a bit too strong but easy to nerf, usually balanced and almost never below average). I'm sure they will do something to his 1 and/or 2 to spice up the simple abilities but he shouldn't get anything beyond a veeery minor rework imo.

i played smite 2 for some time(i prefer smite 1 for now mostly cuz i like diffent god every game and smite 2 cant give me tha variety yet) and i belive that there is pattern,the older the god the more ideas they have to improve and give them some 'spicy' the smite 1 counterpart does not have so i would like to see older gods come to smite2 faster with my personal choices being chronos pr medusa

I really dont get your shiva hate, no he;s not herc but i mean holy shit nike snoozepants shares the same class and you dont say it everytime you talk about nike. Shivas 1 and 2 are really good and fun abilities to use its his 3 and ult being so inactive that holds him back. I think he's literally like the most exciting possible god for smite2 with changes, its widely understood he should get some augmentations i think hirez understands this and they could maybe tether interact key in somehow. Maybe let him cast abiltiies during his ult like hes a mixture of hades and zenyatta ult from overwatch or changes to his passive to make it so he can stance switch rather than it just changing from dmg in a uninteractive way. The most exciting gods to me are the ones that almost cook into being these really top tier fun gods but just arent quite Herc tier goats like- Surtr, Shiva, Yu huang, and I would've said maui but they finally got him into a awesome state in smite1 two balance changes to him ago. Least exciting gods are the ones whose design fantasy are incredibly fucking boring- Nut, Bake, Ishtar, Marti, arachne, hebo

As a mage main I haven’t been playing smite 2 much because they have honestly brought some of the most BORING mages first. Hecate is fun, but other than her all the other mages are not it. Give me Ra, Scylla, Poseidon, Merlin, etc. anyone else really.

All gods should be in Smite 2. They honestly should of waited for the announcement until they had like 40 gods. But any gods that were hard to balance need to be completely reworked. Like Thor? His spin ability looks horrible, It doesn’t even feel like it hits but damage shows. The issue with Smite 2 is no gods to pick from and the map is boring. How do you make some great maps in Smite 1 then make this boring map that’s missing a lot of jungle camps that are important??? The timeframe they released everything feels more like a cashgrab because they think their following for Smite 1 will pick up the slack. And I may not be one of the first players to try smite but I beta tested for consoles before getting my own PC and playing like Season 3 or 4. So I’ve seen enough struggle over the years and one of my favorite secondary modes has been the PvE co-op dungeon they had. They need to bring it back. Also: Nu Wa supposedly has the highest pickrate amongst all game modes so voting her low means a lot of you are lying😂 This is why polls never work. I can just mark low on gods I hate and upvote my mains and nobody can stop me.

I have to wonder why Smite 2's mage roster is so comically horrible all boring characters that are super gankable noob trap characters. I particularly have beef with the Nu Wa players, they have 50 stars in Smite 1 and still run games down now they're able to run Smite 2 games down already with literally no actual fixes to her kit
