EDIT: As many have pointed out, you should ask your guests for proof of their gains, and show it to your audience. Otherwise your credibility may suffer and you may loose subs.This system works, but the laddie you interviewed seems to be a sketchy one according to some people in your comments section. Oh my God! Just three weeks ago I started trading options with THIS EXACT strategy and options for the SPY ETF! Now that I ran into this video, this is the confirmation that my recent success is not a fluke. I combined what Shay (The Humbled Trader) taught about trading the overnight gap with what I have learned about options. So far it has worked (I still need to work on my emotions and discipline for trading the plan). It is soooo encouraging to see that this specific trade that has given me around 12 out of 14 winning trades (and one break even), is what took her to 7 figures!!! I am SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW! Reading the comments I realized that there are people here who do not know that each point in the SPX is $100 and in the /ES is $50. So, a move of 30 points in /ES, which you can trade directly (not using options) is worth $1500. If you trade SPX using options you have to multiply the value of each point ($100) for the delta of the option (which will by itself change during the trade).

Thank your for this episode. It is tremendously helpful to see specific thought process about her strategy. My main interest is in getting more insight into what parameters determine taking or not a trade. Most of the time we are by ourselves staring at the chart for hours, and we take trades that I guarantee you, if we had someone there with us asking us "what are your reasons for taking this trade?" we would probably not be taking all the trades we do. Many times, as I log my trades, I notice I take them (wins and losses) based on "hunches" and that scares me. Thank you for sharing this. I seriously do not know why people do not share this thought process enough. We are tired of hearing about "strategy" but we never get to actually see it done.

I have, and it does work. Even before finding out about this video. I learned to trade the gap from The Humbled Trader. Combined it with options day trading, chose SPY as my sole equity to study, and so far it has worked with over 70% success rate in three weeks, doing one trade per day. I am amazed that this video shows exactly the trade set up I have been using and with the same equity (well I use the ETF, not the actual SPX).

I don't think any successful trader is going to feel an urgent need to show a broker statement. I mean people either believe them or they don't. And I'm sure if they don't, it doesn't bother them one bit. I'm not saying that there aren't scammers out there, there definitely are, but there are also plenty of successful traders, and I know a few myself, and none of them ever felt the urgent need to show statements in order to make some people happy...... Also, there was this one real successful trader, I think his first name was Mark, but I can't remember his last name, but I remember him showing his statement on youtube, and some haters were saying stuff like, "It's so easy to photoshop statements and edit numbers". So my point being is that even if statements ARE shown, haters won't believe they are real anyway, so again, what's the point?

​@@THeBIGRanELL statements don't prove anything. There was a whole youtube video awhile back that talked about how how easy it is to doctor your statement. So it proves nothing. That's why if I was going to joint a discord I would talk to many others first and get some reviews. If the person is making me a better trader and more profitable, then it's totally worth it and I don't need to see statements, since the proof is in the profits. Although nobody really needs discords. If one back-tests enough setups and treats it like a job and studies studies studies, it's almost impossible not to succeed. But one has to be willing to put in the work.

@@THeBIGRanELL yea I really don't have an opinion of her, but I think to really say for sure, one would need to meticulously track her call out entry and exit points to be able to know for sure. I mean it's human nature to not show losing trades. I've seen it in every chat group I've been a part of. Heck, I've been guilty of it as well. We all have egos and nobody ever wants to admit when a trade doesn't work. In spite of what some think of her(again, no opinion), Trader B has had some amazing guests in the past and I've learned quite a bit from them. Some of it I already knew, but like they say, a large part of being a successful trader is learning to control your emotions and I've got some great tips from his interviews in the past on risk management and controlling your emotions.

I'm curious about several statements made in this video that contradicts each other. One, she confirmed that you can't trade SPX Options premarket (Options trading starts when the market opens @ 9:30am, ends at 4pm, except SPY trades up to 4:15pm), yet she claims to have taken the trade between 8:46am when 3900 was broken and then exit at 9:04am when it hit 3871 area. The only way she could have done so was if she was trading Futures, not Options. I understand if she was using this as an illustration, but she claims to have traded this setup ("I actually took this play on Tuesday.") Some clarity would be appreciated. Thank you.

Time zone differences. 9:30am open 4pm close Eastern time. If she entered and exited between 8:46am-9:04am it must be Central time (or 9:46am-10:04am Eastern). Pure speculation on my part. 😁

I would only take this if Persons Pivots daily pivot point is at or near P COD; since the daily pivot point is like a magnet for price & price touches the daily pivot point 60% of the time Gap up/down days always have potential to be strong trend days but don't bet on the gap fill if it is too far away Gap fills tend to start the move early so don't wait all day for one... The longer it takes to make any decent move to fill the gap the less likely it is to fill the gap that same day

It’s just NONE of the chat rooms or even subscription based services out there have anything remotely encompassing with regard to which scanners are the best and what the most powerful filters are based on strategy. That should be basics with an explanation as to why those filters are the best to use if you’re trying to short something. Lots of traders supplement their income by teaching, It’s just not one of them. ALL from what I’ve seen, leave this out and you’re left hoping for that you even have your eye on a ticker that provides a proper move or setup, with volume and price range that would even make it a candidate worth trading. This is one of the biggest reasons why I’ve gone completely algo. Not worth the stress to be ‘guessing’ all the time.

Stay away from chat rooms or subscription services. That’s your first problem. Second you don’t need scanners or “filters” to find the “best” stock to trade. I don’t know this chick, but what she said in the end is how most people trade. Just have a small basket of stocks I’d say 5-10. Stick to the well known stocks, like NVDA, TSLA, AMZN, you can throw SPY AND Q’s in there. Simple. You plot your levels on a day to day basis. You wait for one of those stocks to get to a key level, if there’s range than boom you’ve got a good looking stock. It’s really as simple as that. In the end it comes down to personal experience and how YOU perceive the markets. That’s why no one else can teach you how to trade, you can take bits and pieces from others but you’ll never be able to execute exactly as another trader. Different traders have different perspectives and different experiences so you’ll always find them looking at different stocks. Just focus on what you are able to observe. TIME AND EXPERIENCE is the KEY if you haven’t found it yet. Stop looking for it in chatrooms. All you need is a charting platform and the willingness to do some back testing. I backtest a lot to wire the patterns in my brain. Trading views replay option is great, TOS has the rewind option, but personally I just screen record all my trades and when a good trade plays out i re-watch it over and over until I memorize it. If algorithmic trading works for you stick with it. Manually trading is obviously a lot harder because we aren’t robots and our emotions and bias will always get in the way. You really have to enjoy finding stocks and creating plans and the desire to learn and weed out mistakes. What I’ve I found though is that through all that experience you develop some sort of intuition with each stock. It’s hard to explain but when you stare at hem long enough you sort of get a “feel” for how a stock moves and trading becomes a lot easier and more enjoyable.

@@Adrian16Z you're absolutely right, you have to develop your own style. Pick a few options stocks and stick with it. Especially ones that doesn't whipsaw as much. Ones that can hold its trend. That way you won't burn through capital buying or selling if you don't have alot of capital to begin with after purchasing your stock you reserve goes down each time you purchase.

If a stock gaps up into resistance you can bet that gap is getting filled ( obviously what pays here is the r/r always gotta have a stop loss, if my stop loss is close then I’m betting on that fill) .. very simple strategy really not sure why people are hating on it. Trading can be as simple as you make it. It just takes some time and a few losses to realize that 😂
