@@JC-is1nl Olympic weightlifters use gear, but trenbolone (or 19-nortestosterone derivatives in general) are not useful in a weightlifting context but rather in a bodybuilding context. It more likely is a DHT derivative like anadrol being used.

I think pork and lamb is forbidden because they often get growth hormones in China. Under the list of forbidden foods there was a line stating that there could be PEDs in food and that the athletes should watch out

@@antoniozhu1 Yes. And I think that's the case in US (and most of the other countries) as well. Athletes' diet and food source are strictly controlled by the athletes' team, to prevent from drug accidents. The food (I mean mostly meat) consumed by average people usually has loosen standards in terms of hormones used, not harmful to human body (by bureaus like FDA) , but can cause a measurable effect on drug testings, which is why athletes don't eat meats from unknown sources. I remember one day during my graduate study in US, there was an athlete team coming visiting my school. During lunch that day in the dining hall, their food was served in a separate zone from the student / stuff, specifically for supply source controls.

these guys train with drugs and burn something like 10000 calories per day, just to put into perspective, short track speed skaters in korea burn 7000 calories per day training 11 hrs per day, when you burn that much, a buffet is the only thing that makes sense or just 6 GIANT MEALS

@@wolfdog5981 being on drugs doesnt magically cut out the calories you consume, you cant eat 5000 calories a day and expect to not gain any fat just because you use drugs. They eat clean and in moderation with a lot of protein and train hard, its quite simple

I'm assuming shi count deadlifts, squats, overhead presses etc as "compound technical movements" other than muscle building excecises. It makes no sense that he doesn't train muscles at all but only snatches and cnjs

@@benedictyeong746 If talking about Lu Xiaojun, he actually does a lot of weighted dips if I'm not mistaken. Dude was able to do it with an added weight of 100kg for 5 reps. It's insane really.

Why can’t eating meat outside? Answer: There are steroids used for pork, beef, and lamb sometimes for the animals to grow. The athletes would not pass the drug test if they eat the meat outside.

One thing I realised a while back is your body naturally regulates itself through appetite. I used to count calories, weigh my macros, size out my portions and I started to notice that if you regulate your calories to maintain your current weight its almost exactly the same as your natural appetite level. These guys are already at the correct weight for their division and all that they need to do is auto regulate which ones natural level of hunger will do for them. So unless you're trying to cut, gain a bunch of weight or be 5% body fat just eat clean and follow your natural hunger levels and you will be fine.

Depends on your genetics for ghrelin production and hunger, I've been 195lbs for about a year now after cutting down from 230ish (my "natural" weight) and I still have to consciously remind myself not to go crazy or else I start sloooowly gaining back again about a pound a week

When you expend high workload for 2-3 hrs a day you can get away with a sloppy diet. When I did rowing in high school I can eat breakfast, 2 lunch portions, and dinner and maintain weight.

Isn't weightlifting training rather tame compared to something like bodybuilding specific training? When I watch these guys train, it's very low reps, very long rest periods, seems pretty "easy" TBH. I'm assuming they do other stuff outside what is shown in videos, but it didn't seem like it would burn a ton of calories. I don't know how very low reps but high weight compares to higher reps lower weight training though in terms of calories burned.

@@jaku8513 it actually quite draining. I went from high rep bodybuilding style to Olympic style training and I had to increase the calories intake. To be fair my university coaching would make us squat almost every session alternating with intensity and is probably the reason for higher calories.

@@jaku8513 also weightlifting on classic lifts are done with 2 minutes rest or on the minute style to get the completion feel. Only squats and pull variations have higher rest time.

@@jaku8513 low reps and long tests are due to the intensity of the training. I find it easier to do high rep low test training than high volume low rep training.

我在中超随队工作15年,近距离接触,朝夕相处,通吃同住,可能有500个职业球员,包括一些世界级球员。大多数,像普通人一样,饮食只要不严控,体重体脂就不好。其中确实有一些神奇的个体,可以100%确定他不用任何PED,但随便胡吃海塞,常年6-7%体脂。训练偷懒,从来不去力量室,偶尔不得不去一次,一看姿势,就像这辈子第一次卧推,但一身肌肉。西非球员(尼日利亚,喀麦隆,加纳,科特迪瓦等)这种个体占比很高。普通人没见过基因怪物,是很难理解的。我只能说,零下40度冰窟窿里,你冷,企鹅是不冷的,它很舒服。不要以你的标准,判断它。姚明2米28,他的基因跟你的差别,一目了然。但很多东西,外表是看不到的,其实可能差别更大。任何天然的东西,不含人工enhancing,如果从70亿个当中挑出最极致的个体,比如70亿个苹果,挑出最大的,可能都会吓到你,你难以置信难以理解。石智勇用药,是用药。你们认知的局限,你们也应该意识到。

What Tian Tao said about the food in the training center being made cleanly hits home as someone who also lives in China, where the vast majority of food that especially younger generations consume now is cheap and fast delivery, which is rarely ever clean. If you just listen to the ingredients that is in authentic Chinese food, it should be some of the most nutrient rich and diverse food in the world, making it some of the healthiest food in the world. However, the problem is that food is ALWAYS just drowned in (usually very low-quality) oil and then covered in salt. If I want to eat a salad or some other type of healthy alternative, I have to pay double, quadruple, sometimes 10x what I would for average Chinese food. I would like to believe there is a market for healthily-cooked, not drenched in oil Chinese food, but actually a restaurant like that did open here in Hangzhou, and it shut down about six months later. Grease and oil remain king in Chinese cuisine.

Good genetics to start also weightlifting has been their job since early adolescence Plus these are the best of best out of more than a billion people. With a selection pool that large, there are more anomalies and extreme anomalies.

If you don't eat enough and expelled that amount of calories, you just get thing. They are doing the right thing and eating enough and train. I worked out like a beast and only got ripped once I started eating more and more protein plus I felt better.
