Dude here. 41. Married at 22. Waited until marriage. It was worth it. The world doesn't teach what it means to grow sexually with your partner. What happens when you incrementally get more vulnerable, more open, more in tune. My dad is a man of few words. But he once told me that, in marriage, the sex only gets better. 20 years in, I can attest. It's crazy how it started out good, satisfying. But how year over year it's evolved. So, don't sleep around. And grow and learn with your spouse. As long as you love each other, be vulnerable, are open in needs and wants, try to make them happy above yourself-- the pleasure is the limits. God knew what He was doing when He made sex for a covenant relationship.

@@IllbedamnedifIainthandsome what exactly stops you from marrying your first gf in a modern society? I married my first bf 5 years ago (soon to be 6), when we were both 18. There were lots of whining around us about how we are too young to be marrying, and how we need to focus on studies. But guess what, marriage did not stop us from studying. We went together to one of the top 20 unis in the world, went to Year Abroad as part of our degrees (also together), graduated with first-class honours while studying in a foreign country in our second language, and now living quite nicely, happy, in love, with good jobs. If you find the right the person at a young age and you both have the determination, love and respect for each other, it does work out.

My husband was very sensitive to my feelings and moods, what l was going through day by day. Because of this, l hardly ever turned him away. I always wanted him because he never gave me the impression that he had to be satisfied or else. This set me free to enjoy him and to want him, even when l wasn’t necessarily interested for myself, l was willing to please him anyway because he never made me feel obligated to. He may not have always been content to not pressure me but l never knew it because he never griped, whined, guilted or complained, which made me more willing to keep him happy. He was patient and tender in regards to our private lives and never in a rush, which was also great. Selfishness is a big turnoff to women and sadly that happens a lot. He passed away 3 years ago and although he became emaciated and sick the last few years, to me he was still the sexiest and most appealing man I’d ever known though there was no physical part the last 2-3 yrs but l was totally honored to care for him in every way until he passed. Even in the end he never complained. He was truly an amazing man. This is a good topic and very important information.

The problem is - our society has made sex a popularity contest. Every film, tv show makes fun of the virgin who keeps themselves pure for marriage. It's routed in our culture. What's crazy is, when you hear a 19 year old high school girl confess that she has slept with 13 guys. Not even 20 and her body is sold cheap. What's even MORE horrific when a woman kills 3-4 babies due to her delusion of "her body her choice". It's spiraling out of control thanks to godless feminists. Modern society is decaying literally in front of our eyes and it's not just because of the immoral woman, it's mostly due to it's WEAK MEN. WEAK MEN that fall victim to the "popularity of sex"

Humans learn from stories. We used to have stories about heroes and upright people. There were also stories that taught warnings. These are really gone. What replaced these behavior models was Jerry Springer and other talk and "reality" programs, and movies and shows full of promiscuity, thuggish behavior, and hostility and violence as first resort. That the new stories have remodelled behavior shows.

I don't disagree with what you wrote, until your last sentence, my question is what do those things have to do with "WEAK MEN"? What do you think men could do to prevent promiscuous women from doing those things??? You don't have that problem in Muslim societies where men have the power to prevent the immoral behavior of their wives, and a moral, religious society prevents unmarried women from engaging in such things. The problem is not weak men, it's men who've been gelded and shackled, along with WOMEN who can't, or rather WON'T control their sexual desires. So stop blaming men for the sinfulness of women.

@@eugene7304 Weak men feel the need to control women instead of controlling themselves. I’d rather he dead than be a muslim woman (slave). Women are often followers by nature so if a society has strong, loving and respectable men then it will have strong women and strong families. But men are to lead with kindness, love, and by setting an example, not by forcing women to not “misbehave.” We are not children. We are actually extremely intelligent individuals, able to accomplish many things besides raising kids and keeping house, though that is an honorable estate. Some women don’t want to do that snd shouldnt have to. Statistics show that the highest numbers of hits on porn sites via the internet comes from Muslim countries and everywhere young Muslim men have been allowed to immigrate en masse, rape increases exponentially. Men are mostly the ones without control, yet men are control freaks of women, and sex crazed Muslim men are the worst, most weak-minded of all. You force women to go around completely covered up because your lust is so great and out of control that if you see any part of a woman’s body you just can’t control yourselves. Man, now that’s why l call weak!

My suggestion is to keep watching this guys videos. He tells you how to be honest to Jesus about your lusts. He teaches you to tell Jesus what you really feel in the moment. And if you give all of that experience to Jesus He will heal you. But you have to capture that and surrender it. It gets really annoying for a while of capturing. IT GETS INFURIATING TO INCESSANTLY HAVE TO CAPTURE THE SAME STUPID THOUGHT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND SURRENDER IT TO CHRIST!!! But after you do it enough you will find it beginning to start swinging towards being easier and easier and easier. Because the momentum changes directions. And after a while its so easy to not get swept up in lust of looking. You learn to say no. And you are healed

Sometimes I think that is the reason why God chooses to be hidden, until you make a mighty valiant effort to find him. He wants our love, but gives us all sorts of freedom. If he revealed himself to everyone, then our love for him may not have been tested on flames and there is a chance that we don't go to him using our full freedom, but because we know that the lawmaker and law enforcer is watching. He wants us to fully elevate our love beyond all boundaries, it should be 100% on our own free will, and should be tested in flame for full purification. Just my 0.02🎉

From what I've seen, both assumptions are usually wrong. Just because a man has a strong desire or need to have sex with his long time girlfriend or wife, & does not want to remain abstinent, this does NOT mean that if his needs were being met by her, that he would cheat with other women. If the woman he's married to, or engaged to etc. continually refuses to have sex with him, the odds are good that he will do it with someone else to relieve the pressure, if you know what I mean. In fact God said something very similar in His Bible, in 1 Corinthians 7:5 where he commanded husbands & wives not to deny sexual relations to their husband or wife, except for a short period of time to fast & pray, IF both agree to the abstinence, & then they are to begin sexual relations again, because otherwise the Devil will tempt the person denied, to cause him/her to commit adultery, & it will be much harder to resist, because of their unfulfilled needs/desires.. As far as the husband being the sole object of their wife's desire goes, contrary to popular belief, I've seen far more wives cheating than husbands, even Christian women in the Church are guilty of this, & of course, the man she becomes involved with is usually blamed.

@@eugene7304 mmm... a bit like covering your head in case a man feels sexual desire by seeing your hair? Female here. A female who has to keep a male’s advances at bay before marriage will learn to stifle (and dare I say, not even acknowledge) her own sexual desires. That can carry over into marriage. Men can unknowingly teach their future wife to quell her desires, It’s a classic stimulus-response. “He’s experiencing a desire that I can’t fulfill outside of marriage; therefore, I have to be the strong one, completely deny my own similar urges, and play the part of an asexual being. After marriage, I know sex is good and right, but I’m not “all in” because I’ve never been able to be completely vulnerable AND safe with my guy when it comes to sexual desire.” That being said, after 28 years of marriage and 9 children together, I am “all in”, but he would NEVER say he didn’t want more!

@@judywilson5183 I hear what you're saying, but in my case I was a virgin when we got married and had decided this before I met her, and she wasn't, so there were no sexual advances on my part, and she had experiences saying yes. We talked about it sometimes, but it was more like how it would be and not trying to entice anyone. She wanted it a lot before marriage (again, we talked openly beforehand), but after we got married, after she got it, it just went away. Once a month when she was turned on during her cycle, she would want it, but that was it. And yes, I got very good at it-I'm an empath, and some responses you just can't fake (often repeatedly, if you get my drift), so it wasn't that I was bad at it, it was that she just didn't want it most of the time, like many married woman. The classic, "How do you get a woman to stop having sex? Marry her" line does seem to apply in many cases, as I've heard the stories of many other men as well.

If she was an "object" you wouldnt have married her in the first place. The way I see it, a man wants to be his everything for his wife and to give everything. There is a great desire for a man to please his wife and when that is rejected, it will hurt. A man after he is rejected many times will then stop asking and then you can both suffer alone, in the uncomfortable silence. Which is worse, you tell me?

It appears that that's also what God said in His Bible, that ""Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled."(Hebrews 13:4. K.J.V.) I understand that to mean that a husband & wife are free to enjoy one another as they please.) 1 Corinthians 7:5 says that husband & wife are not to defraud (deprive) sexual relations from one another, except with consent, for a time of fasting & prayer, then come together again, so that we're not strongly tempted to acquire it from others.

My husband works two jobs and comes home and works and I’m so grateful for our family- but he rarely even sincerely talks to me- ask about my day or what goes through my head… then he wants some. Sometimes I feel like the only time he even likes me is right before we go to bed. He is a good man and doesn’t mean to hurt me- but when I feel dismissed and ignored and I’m with kids all day and he doesn’t have five minutes to sit down and “chat” organically and with sincere intentions and interest- I actually feel put off. 😮 it doesn’t take hours of conversation- just 10-15 minutes to say hello when he gets home and don’t stare and black out and look at your phone when we are talking.

Great thoughts on this topic and initial question. I wrongly assumed the direction you’d go in, is that women insecurely assume that if a man cannot say no, that his yes would end up going somewhere other than to her. And that a man securely assumes that he is the object of all his wife’s sexual desires so that is why he would say yes please bring me a wife who cannot say no to her desire for me! But pursuant to your topic, we only experience freedom if yes is also an option. Which I feel leaves out celibate people. (Incels, I suppose?) or perhaps like myself, just faced 18 years of rejection in my marriage - it was emotionally sexless, and nearly physically so also. She eventually cheated on me and left, so now I’ve been celibate 3 years. I have never particularly felt sexually free, because I didn’t really ever get a true yes, despite 18 years of marriage.

A person who cannot say no to their own desires is one who cannot acquire virtue. Virtue is the acquiring of habits that make a holy life possible. “Although in their singularity they are directed to specific goods for the person, the virtues are expressions of a single love and can even be defined as “strategies of love.” The apprehension of the good, which appears on the horizon of love, implies perceiving a unity with the other person. In the love of friendship, the good of the beloved is seen as the good of an other self. The goods for the person are perceived within the intentionality of love, which first of all gives importance to the person of the other. In their very ontological structure, the virtues thus have a communal character. The intentionality of virtue’s dynamism is rooted in the gift of an initial communion and moves toward its effective and complete achievement. Ethical reflection based on the virtues offers to the ethics of love a rationality that saves it from emotionalism and decisionism, guaranteeing the place of the true good within communion. This becomes evident if we consider the twofold connection of virtue: on the one hand to love and on the other to practical reason, which understands and establishes the ends of action.” [Livio Melina, The Epiphany of Love: Toward a Theological Understanding of Christian Action (Grand Rapids, MI; Cambridge, U.K.: William B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, 2010), 40.] In other words, to achieve a life together that is filled with the practical acts which foster a deeper love both must share a common goal; to love God by loving one another as God calls them to do.

Well, that is the problem of the Catholic Church: it only admits sex for procreation and prohibits sexual education because it believes that knowing about sex leads to practicing it. Today the pendulum is swinging to the other extreme, and Catholic women have a lot of premarital sex and promiscuous sex with all kinds of contraceptive methods, and only stop having sex when they get married.

Now there just needs to be a counterpart video for “women who overly indulge in pridefulness, and why no man wants that”, aside from the reasoning being that men just want to live as kings of their own lives

I was saved at age 41, and was invited to visit a Bible church at age 42, and I thought that because I was a good looking guy in great shape, who trusted the Lord as personal savior, that many people would want to introduce me to marriage-eligible women. All I heard was crickets. I didn’t realize that there were classes of Christians in most churches. There is the guy who went to Christian school, and then to Bible college. He’s considered to be a first class Christian. Then there’s guys like me who lived a secular life until age 40 or so…and then trusted the Lord as Savior. I’m considered to be “other”….or second class. I’ve been a believer for 29 years now, and never once has somebody said that they wanted to introduce me to someone at church. I had to decide a long time ago that I wasn’t going to let people destroy my relationship with Jesus. But, my feeling is that this is a completely subconscious form of discrimination, and people don’t even realize it’s going on. It makes me wonder about the young women who have been taught to remain pure until they get married. They literally have been conditioned to believe that sex is something to be avoided. I have to wonder if people believe that being married suddenly throws a switch inside these young women where they change from detesting the idea of sex to being a willing partner in a marriage relationship. Because I haven’t had the opportunity to marry one of these girls, I have no idea how they go through that dramatic change from no to yes. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Then I read Song of Solomon at twelve and knew that was what I wanted to wait for. Now by God's grace married for 12 years and I'm enjoying that. Us girls if taught right are told we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are precious daugthers of God and we need to wait for the man God wants for us that will draw us closer to Jesus. Marriage is refining fire for both.

I'm approaching 47 and my deepest regret in this life is allowing this hypersexualized culture to influence me to behave or speak against what I knew in my heart is just flat wrong. We have confused ourselves in our priorities by dismissing the proper order of romantic interest and physical intimacy. We have also dismissed that a husband and a wife are immutably coindicative entities meaning one defines the other by natural design and sex before or outside traditional marriage is a perversity against God and nature. The best symbolic parallel to this that I can think of is a bow and arrow...one cannot perform the act of archery without the other, it is impossible...thus, by the same logic a man nor a woman can perform the act of divinely approved sex (consummation of vows) unless they are a husband and his wife. Two men means no wife, thus no husband, thus no true marriage...two women means no husband, thus no wife, thus no true marriage. Part of our misunderstanding (I believe) is that when scripture condemns homosexuality/lesbianism it is in the verb context, not the noun context...meaning the orientation/desire is one aspect of those terms but the action/behavior is another aspect of those terms. It seems to me scripture condemns the action/behavior of homosexuality no less than it condemns the action/behavior of fornication or abdultery with heterosexually inclined people. Back to the original point, I say we should, as a culture promote the concept of purity rings (symbolizing chastity until the honeymoon, thus commitment to God's prescribed order of events) over the tradition of engagement rings (that simply promote commitment to a fiancée) and courting over dating...courting would have far stricter rules on what type of intimacy can be engaged until wed which should be conversations of getting to know each other's heart on those details whereas dating is more whatever two (not so self-disciplined) individuals decide on which typically means getting to know each other's bodies before wedding vows. I have a purity ring (on hold should I ever court a woman) in its wrapper of which I have never touched and will never touch as that is the point of it. Hope this helps others possibly better understand their beliefs that might be at odd ends with their fleshly compulsions. God's story is a marriage proposal, let's start honoring that above our own desires.
