John Doe might know how to use a emulator but might have never been to get into the emulator in the videos. If John Doe was in a investigation and they found the emulator wouldn’t the police have taken it as evidence. If he did extra research after the investigation ended he could have found evidence to the stairs and not have been able to get into the building to prove his point. He would have had to get a search warrant but knowing that after a investigation is over the police will not give you a search warrant so therefore he wouldn’t know what’s on the computer.

this.. This makes sense. As a system (the host specifically) the fire would have caused trauma, and Syphus' personality could have split to cope. If this is in fact the case, i hope that the rep it would bring to DID and disasosiative disorders would be good. I really enjoy these theories, and i like educating people on DID and OSDD. Syphus' personality/mind splitting because of trauma, stemming from guilt and the deaths, would make a lot of sense. I feel as though, even if Syphus was the core/body before the trauma/split he would be a persucutor (someone who hurts the body/other alters either unintentionally, or inentionally) but that doesnt really matter to the theory. All in all you raise a good theory/plot twist and i think its very clever.

Ok i wanted to make this so that people could get caught up, so that i could be sure, and maybe help Matt. This started with Nelson Syphus and another co-founder having an idea for a company that could help the world and when the got started they hired D as their head scientist. I am pretty sure that she was the head scientist but it might not be. Nelson was trying to make a serum that could help him out in so many ways without his other co-founder knowing about it. so he manipulated him and started working on the serum. He needed his co-founders help in things so he brought him into it without telling him anything about it and had him help him with his serum. While doing experiments on himself and others D tried to make the other co-founder help her with her 863 project to take down Nelson but he said he had known Nelson for many years and had never seen D in this way before. Eventually the building caught on fire and I think Syntec got shut down and Nelson needed to start making more of the serum to keep him alive. Thats why Nelson needed that serum in the wall that Matt found. Maybe the Under cover cop is just a person who got involved with this and is helping D or is actually the co-founder and is lying about being a undercover cop. or in a alternative way the co-founder was one of the 3 employees of Syntec who died in the fire. Or he ran away because he was afraid. Then there is the possibility that the John Doe is not working with D and wants the emulator for a different reason like maybe John Doe is Nelson or the third party who may have burnt down Syntec. Then D might have burned down Syntec to try to stop all of this. This is what is going on inside of my head at the moment but maybe i will write another one of these when i get more information. I hope this helps Matt or some of you get a more clear picture in your head.

John Doe is not 100% the man in the tape but it is a good possibility. The fact he seemingly doesn't know the phrase suggest possibly otherwise unless Deborah kept him in the dark but also if he knows how to use the emulator he should know the phrase unless he never read those chats.
