I haven't watched the video yet, but a manga series I recommend is Dorohedoro. The artwork and the story is amazing! And all of the characters are likeable/enjoyable. The manga is also finished, so you don't have to wait each week for it to update!

I recommend Happiness by Shuzo Oshimi. Starts out pretty standard for a teenage vampire story but around the half way point really turns around and becomes something amazing. Most of Oshimi's long running manga are worth checking out too

PromG brought up Sundome and I was lucky enough to pick it up for a decent price last month. Definitely recommend Vagabond. I prefer it over Blade of the Immortal but they're very similar both under the samurai genre but the art in Vagabond is godly and the character development is so good for the different characters we see throughout the chapters.

i am SOOOOOO happy that someone recommended astra lost in space. i see people recommend it here and there but it deserves so much more love. the plot twist is absolutely golden and makes the story 1,000 times better. there is also a lot of depth to the characters, some more than others. i really recommend astra lost in space, i think it can reach a lot of audiences

my one recommendation would be Ooku_The Inner Chambers by Fumi Yoshinaga. set in the Edo period, it's about a plague that wipes out 75% of japan's male population. Women then have to take up roles traditionally held for men such as shogun. it has lots of politics, intrigue and romance. soooo good!!!

Great recommendations! I love watching videos with a bunch of mangatubers together. I talked about this in my collection video - my top recommendation is Cardcaptor Sakura. It's a classic magical girl story and combines a lot of heartwarming moments and a air of mystery around its characters.

It's about a boy who is exploring his grandpas basement and sees a go board, but meet someone unexpectedly. It's about the game go and I found it interesting so I really reccommed it to anyone

I recently started Komi-san Cant Communicate and i would really recommend it. Its a very wholesome story. The panels are drawn in a very unique way which just makes it a much better and funnier read. There's also a lot of relatable aspects in the story like Tadano-kun wanting to have a normal highschool life without getting too much attention or his classmates being jealous of him for sitting next to the beauty of the school and so on. It also has its own unique way of expressing comedy. I recommend checking it out. (It is also very good for ppl who dont usually read shoujo stuff like myself)

I highly recommend Grand Blue to everyone. Boogie already owns the series but it’s an amazing and hilarious comedy/slice of life set in a college setting with the main premise being underwater diving. Anyone could jump in and enjoy it :)

I recommend "Biao Ren" or in english "Blades of the Guardians". Its a manhua about Daoma, a chinese samurai, and his child Xianqi. If you like "Vagabond" or "Blade of the Immortal" you will like this as well. Unfortunately the series only has a german release so far in the west so you can just read it illegal in english :( but the art is amazing :D

A manga i would recommend is majo no kaigashuu and i don't know if it is translated in English so sorry if it isn't Its about a boy named Loki wich was created by the strange powers of a girl named Aisya wich has the power to bring every painting to live with her blood something drastic happends and aisya's final wish is that loki destroys all the paintings she has made so in this manga we follow loki in his adventure where he is going to meet new people having fights and trouble a little bit off love stories between the side characters over all a great series i would recommend y'all to check out

I greatly enjoy Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji, or Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji which is the first in a long part series by Managaka Nobuyuki Fukumoto. The series touches on a number of topics such has gambling, loan sharking, usury, the Yakuza and how the poor and desperate are taken advantage of to be made poorer. The series really stands out for it's unique original gambling ideas, deep psychological analysis of characters and distinct artstyle. I highly recommend.
