The unknown party definitely looked like mackerel to me. Love that fish, and it’s popular in Japan. Also, I personally prefer Japanese pumpkin in my tempura to sweet potato. I find it holds its texture better and has a more neutral flavor, which I think goes better with the ponzu or other sauce it’s often served with, which often is a little sweet itself

Thank you for using the music from my favourite Zelda game, the first time through the video I ended up not paying attention and my mind drifted back to little me hunched under my bedside lamp with my oldstyle Gameboy (yes, I am getting old, true middle age is only a couple of years away, please help) and being completely wrapped up the adventure unfolding Infront of me. So thank you for that little slice of childhood innocence, I am going through a lot right now and that brief moment was precious to me. All the best to you dude, you have given me so many places and types of food that I want to try and for that I am very grateful.

@@gritmakaveli Cost-of-living/CPI adjusted, it's not as huge of a difference as one would expect. Also, pro tip: local restaurants are usually better and cheaper. McDonald's and many other major food chains jacked up their prices at rates *way* beyond inflation (because absurd profit margins $$$); most local restaurants did not follow this trend. Better food for a better price is the better option (and is also normally less processed, and supports the local economy).
