I am a Buffet aficionado (worldwide) and the Narbonne buffet looks amazing for just €60..? In a restaurant good food like that would have been an easy €350 per person.

Hey and welcome to the channel! I've heard the Philippines has some amazing buffets, it's definitely a place I'll be visiting in the future. I definitely recommend a visit to Les Grands Buffets if you can manage to get a reservation! 🦞

Wow David…I never knew such a place existed! I’m assuming you speak French? Was it intimidating to have so much variety to choose from? What a great and unique experience it must have been! Thanks for sharing!❤

Thanks for watching! I speak a little French and I wouldn’t call it intimidating so much as enthralling.

Did you like the lievre a la royale, I had it once at a Parisian restaurant famous for its game, and I couldn’t eat it which is rare for me. Although I do remember a horrible herring in a white cream sauce with onions and apples!

Yeah, I really like it. But it’s a pretty unique thing, and it can feel kind of like eating a pate together with slow cooked meat.

For those who wonder if they make money, apparently they have 1000 clients a day. so arround 60 000 dollars a day. Perhaps more with the wines. But it is impressive yes. Nice video thank you

They sell their wines at cost and even give a bottle free when you buy a case. So most of their income probably wouldn’t come from there, but they are definitely reported to be very profitable. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!

There's more "Grands Buffets" in France, but the level of this one is really one of a kind. I guess it was worth the trip!

last december around dec 14 it was 53.xx Euros. INflation!!!!! argh

Still an amazing deal, but definitely argh to inflation. How is Narbonne in winter?
@mjkl6143 ай бұрын
How do they even make money with this price 😂
@DavidGTravels3 ай бұрын
@@mjkl614 I said the same! But according the latest New Yorker article I saw they're supposedly the most profitable buffet in France. I guess not everyone eats as much as I do! 🤣

Thanks, I think I kept saying a punto not realizing that the French equivalent is very similar 🤣

There are some great buffets in the US, but I agree - Les Grands Buffets is way ahead of them
