I never though I would see Mike in a restaurant I've been to! I've been there a couple of times because I live 40min away, and I have to say it's probably the best quality/price ratio I've ever found in a buffet! If you passby, you must stop for it! And please if you passvy Perpignan, have a stop at few restaurants there and let us know !

Yes however on the panel at the entrance at 8:00 it said €47,90/adult and €23,90 for children under 10yo. It's free for kids who are 5yo and under. So it's 5 euros more than what you said. Maybe you converted in dollars ?? Then i think it would be even less though?

He is in France and he already was wowed with the off menu dishes, no wonder he went after the desserts. Mikey: the Grand Buffet in Narbonne has been on my bucket list for a while. The price is right at about €47. Of course you mentioned a few negatives. Difficult to get a reservation! The 2 hour time limit is a big, big problem because when you order a special dish you may have to wait 20 minutes & you can only order one per person at a time! I do agree that it's a good idea to go several times & concentrate on just certain food categories, like desserts or seafood or charcuterie or cheese categories that you don't have to specialty made or wait in line! So, you need to have an eating plan before you arrive!

I really enjoy all Mike's yt production. He is fun and pleasant to watch - not only because the subject but also he is just genuine nice guy and you can feel that over the screen. I have just one, very small, very tiny problem. Mike always slurp in restaurants! I know that it is part of chineese culture but for example in Europe it is something which is not acceptable from the perspective of cultural propriety. It is not like no one is doing that - it just not in good manner. If Mike will be sitting next to me I can say it would disturb me a lot during nice meal in restaurant. Hi Mike! First, Les grands buffets de Narbonne are well known in France and in Europe generally. The pastry, a cannelé, IS NOT a bread pudding XD. It came from Bordeaux and you have some rhum and vanilla here in the recipe, it's a crêpe pastry. Secondly, Les grands buffets have the most important cheese buffet in France and Europe, so if you are in, I absolutely recommand to try it. You should try Comté or Abondance, I tkink you would like that. Also, if you are in France for some time, you should try Boulom in Paris, a french gastronomic buffet for the same price. @@nadinemacdougal6981 That what I wrote, in Paris you have the french traditionnal restaurant Boulom, which is a gastronomic buffet located in an ancient bakery. The owner use bread ovens to cook the food, and the taste is really delicious . For Les Grands Buffets, it's located in the city of Narbonne and it's a great exception, because it's a wonderful buffet. Make sure to do a reservation several days before, even a week before . Generally, in France, traditionnal good restaurants have a short menu. For us, it's a quality guarantee with fresh ingredients. For example, we don't understand american menus, because it's far to long ! Also, if you go in France, don't go to the touristic restaurants. It's overpriced .

And the duck is called "canard au sang" aka "duck with its own blood", which is what is extracted from the press and then used to make the sauce. It's a recipe from the town of Rouen. There is also a couple of restaurants in Paris that serve this dish, most famously the restaurant "La Tour d'Argent" (the Silver Tower), which is the name for the silver press that is used for the blood extraction.

@@victoriagossani8523 don’t be silly, no need to say sorry. It just seems that I’ve noticed many Americans cut their food up and then use one hand to eat everything - like a toddler would do. It’s something very common that I keep noticing and I have no idea why. 😂

Spiral Buffet at the Sofitel Manilla is pretty damn outrageous...beautiful place with the biggest selection of fabulous food imaginable. Definitely on par with the Les Grands Buffets. I reckon you'll be as blown away by Spiral as we were Mike....hope you get an opportunity to check it out for yourself some time.

Best thing i ever ate in france was from this tiny bakery (cant remember where it was) but damnnnnn the croissant was amazing, havent had anything like it ever again

Looks amazing. Impressive decor , impressive quality of the preparation and food. Especially for price !! High quality buffet nowadays go for 150$ and might not be as good
