@Rhys Hopkins Well, 2000kcal a day maintains weight with proper diet. 1500kcal or less is recommended when trying to lose weight at a healthy rate. When i started, i was 235 lbs. Now down to 183lbs all with just changing my diet and not working out. I've currently begun intermittent fasting and adding daily walks. Eventually, when i get down to 175 170ish, I'll change my diet back to around 2000kcal a day while working out more intensely to start building muscle and going back up in weight but with muscle not fat
