I realize that with Randy, when things got tough, I was always a little worried he was going to puke, and I have a real aversion to that. Adam, is such an absolutely EPIC guy. Amazingly polite, always full of nothing but compliments, kind, packs away the food like one of the best champion food eaters ever. Stays in shape, fasts before each challenge, then, orders desert afterwards, like an absolute king. I don't usually watch any of these food challenge videos. I usually find them a waste of time, but when Adam came to my home town, Wilmington NC and he did the Lobster Roll challenge here, my daughter sent me a link. it's not a small town, it's the fastest growing city on the east coast and the most expensive to live in in the state. There are 50,000+ students between UNCW and Cape Fear Community College. The metro area is the entire county which is like 1/10th of the states coast line. There is bumper to bumper traffic here all day, every day once the temps exceed 80 degrees. Mitch McConnel and Oprah have beach houses here on figure 8 island. The set of Outer Banks was based on Wilmington, although not filmed here for whatever reason.

A friend did a six pound steak challenge. He ordered well done thinking it would cook some of it out. He didn’t make it. He said he wasn’t full. The char on it made the roof of his mouth raw. @@williejackson6905 I’ve learned in this life, the opportunities missed are the ones never taken. Rude or not, I got a story and some memories out of it. After he finished I went back to invite to the brewery I work at where all of us watch his videos on our break. I believe that would’ve been the opportunity to tell me to piss off if he felt a way about it. That whole experience was positive and I think he picked up on the joy that was being shared by his presence. I too feel it was rude, but I’ll never see him again so fuck it….get in the game and shoot your shot or sit on the bench and cheer from the sideline. “Kobe” is what I whispered in his ear

I watched this with envy. I'm allergic to the red dye produced in the shell that permeates the flesh. I had small amounts of lobster twice in my youth and was sick as a dog for days after each time.
