As an Ecuadorian I know quinoa very well. You have to let it soak overnight always:)

If you toast the quinoa prior to adding the water it gets a nice nutty flavor.

Looks delicious. I eat quinoa a lot, since I can't digest grains and wheats. Tabouleh is great in summertime. I'll do some sautéing of the quinoa next time. Thanks for the suggestion. 😊

Is it really easy to digest? Ive been having digestion issues lately.

@@meirabalderas9193 Quinoa and buckwheat are no wheats, so they contain no gluten. Some people say they have to get used to flavour and texture, but I have heard no one about hard to digest. You can start by taking small amounts and see how things go. If you have a gluten-intolerance, you certainly could try. 😊

I make something similar with much less quinoa, but the touch of garlic and the chicken bullion sounds amazing. I’ll have to try it.

Can we get like a recipe maybe? I would love to make this but have never made quinoa. How much did you use and how much water? How much of the other ingredients did you use? Would really like to know

47:54 “The regents” specifically are mandatory tests that all New York public highschool students need to pass to get a special type of diploma. The regents diploma isn’t needed to graduate highschool but it is the default track of every student. So the pov u gave should be the regents specifically, not just any test

Looks delicious but i would never be able to do this with my executive dysfunction issues and disabilities, so much washing and chopping. My great grandma used to make this though and i miss it! Wish more grocery stores delis would sell a pre made version for those of us with low energy/ low mobility. But yum!

The original Tabolea dish does not include garlic in the dressing.. it has finely crushed dried ment, and you need to aad the dressing just befor eating. Some people add cucumbers, not me, also try to eat it with long Italian lettuce leaves.. it's so good. 😊
