"V1.0" tends to signify a finished version, or a full release, of a game or mod. With this in mind, it's kinda crazy how incomplete and low-polish Calamity's 1.0 is, huh?

i miss the old terratomere, before the rework it was such a nice weapon. then it was moved to post providence then reworked. now its just a crappy fancy looking sword :c

yeah personally i never used the new terratomere, old one just hits different but i can understand why it was reworked

I never used the old one as I didn't get a chance to, but I just finished up my meelee playthrough and the current terratomere is fucking broken close range. To put it into perspective, I used it against poltherghast and my main weapon (don't remember what it was) was doing around 15k dm iirc. During the spinning souls attack where PG is just sitting there you can keep hitting it with Terratomere and tank the attacks, and it deals about 40k dmg per hit. It's absolutely busted if you find a chance to get close and use it

While I understand that the goal was to see what you can do today with v1.0 calamity items the comparison just doesn’t seem entirely fair when you are on v1.4.4 of base terraria. The items are out of their original context so of course they are going to be underwhelming. The balance issues are pretty funny though

I need to know, since I am quite new to calamity, and am too lazy to do any deep searching, what do you mean by "Anti-cheat worm protection"? Like what DoG does during the first few seconds of the fight, and the phase change where you can't hit the body to deal massive amounts of damage to the wrapped up segments, or like too many segments can't be hit.

worms have massive DR after spawning

Worms have damage reduction per segment hit. Piercing weapons do less and less damage for every additional segment so that worms don't get instantly shredded by infinitely piercing attacks.

I use premiere pro auto subtitles you can probs find a tutorial on youtube. Subtitles wont be perfect so you gotta go back and edit it....for changing colour its just in the effects panel

At the bottom of the list you can find "Sell duplicates" Bonus: You must pick between "Keep least expensive" or "Keep most expensive" because by default keep a lot of the same item with different prefixes.

To add to the comment, before sone big updates when we still had the class lvl system aerialite was post evil to mine because of the pickaxe power or getting lucky with reaver shark, but it also spawned aerialite slimes when near that dropped the ore making it accesible pre boss
