I attempted the DougDoug TotK challenge, but in the Depths

TO EVERYONE IN THE COMMENTS TALKING ABOUT THE SIMPLYSNAPS METHOD, I KNOW.
I tried doing the thing where you save, die, and then reload the save to stop burning. However, any area where climbing was required (which was a lot), the method is useless. That's why I decided to go with the armour instead. I hope you all understand, and thanks for the support on the vid!
In my last line video, I crossed the entire Tears of the Kingdom map in a straight line. However today, we're changing it up by heading beneath the surface, and doing the challenge there. This one was recommended by a bunch of you guys, so I hope you enjoy!

There is actually a theoretical workaround for the death mountain area. As demonstrated by SimplySnaps in her "100%ing the Depths without leaving" challenge, dying from extreme heat and reloading places Link on the last piece of solid ground he stood on, meaning that you can run through the area while saving right before dying, and then just waiting for it to reload and keep going. Though with all the climbing required, and needing to hop across lava pools, I'm not sure it'd be completely possible.

Yeah, that was actually something that I playtested a bit. But like you said, the lava pits and climbing made it impossible sadly :(

I want to see a diagonal line. The hardest part will be tracking it as you go. But it would be the longest line possible. It would be great if you were able to stick to one step east followed by one step north or one step west followed by one step south the entire time (or vice versa). I think the aesthetics of that straight diagonal line would look badass

There are 2 other ways to deal with hot areas, other than potions and Armor. 1st is mentioned a lot here, save scumming. 2nd i dont believe was mentioned yet... Water, wet items (such as chu chu jelly, splash fruit, etc) and hydrants can all be used for temporary heat abatements.
