For anyone thinking the dialogue is too clean to be realistically Trump, I urge you to watch any one of his legal depositions. He's perfectly articulate with a normal vocabulary. Brendan Gleeson is a powerhouse. Not only does he nail Trump in every syllable, he accomplishes something even long time villainous character actors struggle to do - he makes his character simultaneously seem like a deeply menacing and deeply pathetic, inadequate human. Gleason based this performance on the Trump behind closed doors (when hear from audios of meetings and transcripts of phone calls.
