Dimash, often hailed as "the world's best singer," has captivated audiences globally with his extraordinary vocal prowess. In a world where the mention of autotune and melodyne may raise questions about authenticity, Dimash's talent shines through effortlessly. His pitch-perfect performances leave vocal coaches and music enthusiasts in awe, as they witness a level of skill that makes autotune seem redundant. In a world where discussions of autotune's worth and the ethics of its usage abound, Dimash stands as a living testament to the power of raw talent. His melodies, unadulterated by technology, remind us that some voices are so naturally gifted that autotune and melodyne pale in comparison, and they challenge the notion that autotune is "bad." Dimash's exceptional vocal range and precision elevate him to a realm beyond the need for these tools, leaving his listeners with a truly authentic musical experience.

I fully appreciated your effort. It was fun, it was respectful, and it was educational. Thank you, H, I love that kind of professional anslysis that shows how human Dimash is, and what an exceptional singer he is at the same time. D. has always wanted that from his fans - to appreciate him as a singer who faults, and who strives to perfection, but not as someone frozen dead in perfection with no space to evolve. Thanks once again, love and peace💖✌️

Dimash voice and singing style doesn’t need auto tuning. He sings live always, what you hear is what you get. The difference and flaws is in the ears of the beholder. Actually, autotune destroys /ruins/sabotages/kills his already magnificent and perfect voice. That’s the result of 20 years of music school to university training to a music masters degree. Love his voice and kind of music. Always spectacular on stage.

I think it is because his vibrato is sooo wide that it covers the sound you are expecting to hear, even if it is not 100% centred. Plus, his middle eastern scales that you hear in his runs and melismas are so complex that you get quite used to those sounds, and with our Anglo styled listening, we have already learnt the expectation of the unusual to sound correct, in his case. And in my case, I actually love his idiosynchracies, and miss the ones from his original ‘in English’ songs, now that he is getting better at our vowels and consonants. The Kazakh/Qazakh pronunciations of their alphabet and the Russian ones too, are striking, to me. He has sung in sooo many languages, phonetically…so I’ve read, that he must have a photographic memory to be able to adjust to the sounds of each…like in Japanese Ikanaide to Chinese Autumn Strong, and to satisfy their own language appreciations. That is an interesting analysis, showing that he definitely is still human, but perfectly human!! If all humans were absolutely perfect, life would quickly become monotonous, as looking for the best would disappear.

@@mrychards6682 Dimash, when he was younger, and had a new song to learn, would go into his bedroom for a week to internalize it, so I’ve read. How is that for discipline. His focus and drive is second to none, and he must be a perfectionist….which we see when he asks if he sang well after performances, and then goes over the videos looking for opportunities to improve. I have not come across anyone in 75 years of life that measures up to any mark about any thing in any way, that shows such a pattern of dedication to the production of a healthy and robust life that centres around love and respect in every direction a human should pursue, and applies that zest for life to their own personal living, talents and abilities, and their search and opportunities to be and to serve. He is next to Jesus in my estimation. If Jesus came back today, and walked among us, they would find each other.

Yes, interesting. He employs those little micro tones here snd there too that characterize his voice. So, on that area where you tuned two notes to be the same MIGHT have been intentional. I say that because it was sort of right between the half step...I 🤔 Anyway this was a great idea and I got quite a laugh from the extremes you played around with.😂 Thanks!🤩
@HofTheStage

I believe it was intentional too. Vibrato is a very interesting thing. I recorded a long time ago a cover of Baby it's cold outside a fellow student when we were at the music university, and she had pretty big vibrato too but it still sounded completely on pitch. I just love that. There are definitely singers that go beyond that one note, but that just means their vibrato is not controlled well. You can check out that video, it's on my channel

There was a period in his very very early days that he was experimenting with autotune and his voice sounds weird. I believe they used it for the performance of Screaming in Beijing too but whether that was for artistic effect or because of his rhinitis at the time I don't know. There's been a guy recently who's insisted that practically every performance Dimash does is auto tuned, even insisting that those off stage clips we've seen of him singing without a mic and filmed via phone camera have been autotuned by the uploader. I wouldn't have thought that was possible by your average phone user.
@HofTheStage
@HofTheStage 8 ай бұрын
Studio versions are always a bit autotuned, but in Dimashes case, it's maybe 1-5% autotune. Phone recordings are as real as they get, they are definitely not altered in anyway. I even have footages from dears that just show how amazing he is live and off stage.

@@HofTheStage thank you for confirming this, I'm not that au fait with current technology and apps for phones are available for pretty much everything but I was pretty sure that it wasn't possible. For some reason this guy hates Dimash and I mean really hates him, he's made it his mission to besmirch him and claim he's a fake, calling anyone who disagrees with him in the comments sycophants and idiots. Of course we're all aware that things get fiddled with in post production, but I'm glad you pointed out that it's not possible to do this with a bog standard cell phone. A few years back a reactor with an audio engineer background actually pointed out for detractors that in the Tokyo Jazz Festival performance of Samaltau you can clearly see the soundboard while Dimash is singing and the autotune function was not switched on.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato,whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. sai ,ti seguo da tanto tempo/mi ricordo quando eri sorpreso di 20secundi su un respiro di DIMASH quando cantava ``SINFUL PASSION``. Video super ..molto interessante , grazie!!

This is super cool and very educational. Not mentioning any name, but there is a KZbinr here who posted regularly to prove Dimash uses autotune on every single of his performances. Obviously dears ignore him for it’s very clear he only wanted views, but it still pretty annoying, not to mention defamation is illegal in some countries.

@@IsabelW1000 I just ignored his videos after the first one although I did read the comments in the next ones. He couldn't actually defend anything that he said with reasoned argument. He just kept being abusive to anyone that disagreed with him. All he did was prove that he's a very unpleasant person who just can't admit when he's wrong and has to try and defame talented people because he's envious. His vitriolic attack on Dimash actually made me wonder if (as he calls himself a composer) he'd submitted a song to Dimash but been rejected, as his hatred for him seemed really personal?

@@HofTheStage thank you for doing this fun exercise too! Dimash was a perfect example because he's already so good at what he does. ❤ There's a few singers out there that would be the same if you tuned them. One that came to my mind right away was Beth Hart when she sang a live version of "I'll Take Care of You." It was so powerful and full of emotions but then the studio version was completely voided of all the rawness from the live. 😑 Alot of pop songs I listen to I prefer the studio version though. 😂🤣 It's probably cause their live performances are off key and it's just a fun pop song so the studio version sounds better. Plus, these kind of singers don't display emotions anyways so listening to them singing off key is a headache. 😂

There is no need to exaggerate. Just because some versions are recorded in the studio, doesn't mean there is no emotion. For instance, the MV of Qairan Elim is performed very emotionally. Also the Omir Oter MV.

go and watch My Beauty the MV, it's a very early video Dimash made when he was about 19. Around that time he was obviously learning about auto tune at university because he used it in a few recordings around that time. You can clearly hear that auto tune is used. It gives a slightly metallic sound to his voice.

To me, Dimash sounded better than that auto-tuning. Most of the differences were very slight anyway, but when you increased the autotune more, it sounded awful and fake, whereas Dimash sounded beautifully human. As you said, even in the infrequent instances when his notes are not computer-perfect, he is such a great singer, you don't even notice it because his singing is so beautiful.
