I like to imagine the silent killed the heart by barely touching it, instead annoying it to death with a million dings on it's ting-sha. just a lady in a cloak jumping around the room doing anime poses for an hour whilst banging on cymbal and avoiding all combat, only the occasional jab with her knife. No fire no nothing, the animation is lying - the heart died from high blood pressure.

8 minutes in and this is already the choke run I always try to have (but always fail). Choke is such a difficult card to get working, at least for me.

Because Choke generally isnt that good. Same with Evis. Frost just got exceptionally lucky with the Gambling Chip.

It usually is a bad card overall, frost probably took it from a combination of A: it was a decent damage option being offered to him at the start and B: because it was the start of the challenge attempt and he figured he would take it and see if he got the rare combination of things to make it work which he did

Minor nitpick, but if Frost had dug in Act 4, it would not have been Ornamental Fan. Shops pull from the bottom of the relic list, unlike other sources of Relics. Digging would spawn the next Relic in the list, while Fan was the last Relic in the same list.

To make this challenge even harder, Frost shouldn't be able to go to the heart every run. He should have to make a decision by the final campfire in Act 3 (for the key) whether or not it's a heart run. Sorta like how he did it with the last challenge run.

Man, I was seriously doubting Sacred Bark over RoS at the end of act 1, because all I saw it as was the deck was super strong on turn 1 and RoS gave it some longevity besides. But after seeing how strong just doubling a single potion can be in the heart, I am starting to believe.

that bark did fuck all until the heart lol. He used 3 potions after getting bark. An explosive potion that he used to finish off a an enemy with lik 6 hp and a swift potion cuz he made a mistake. Oh and a colourless potion which gave him 2 apotheosis rip. the 10 dex was nutty tho.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Frost is really against taking Sozu, as well, and there have been runs where he passed Sozu and then didn't use more than one or two fairly low-impact potions the entire rest of the run. But this was a really good example of the opposite, it was totally worth sandbagging the act 1 relic on a deck this strong to seal it up against the heart fight.
