I never could afford a 360 as a young lad so this was my main version of the original DR. It’s one of those games that’s objectively dog dook but I still had a place for it in my heart because it got me into the series and the nostalgia… Then I got a 360 two years later, played three minutes of the new-gen version and subsequently taped the wii version to a live hand grenade and promptly disposed of it in a storm drain

The problem with yellow paint is that, today, it's used in games where exploration is non-present, and that's what makes it useless. The players must go that way, because it's the only way to go, and they don't need yellow paint to remind them of that. The giant arrow, on the other hand, is needed. Willamette mall is a giant place, and it's easy to get lost if it's your first time around, or if you don't pay attention to where you actually need to go. So yeah, my thesis is that yellow paint is unnecessary in linear games.

This was my first experiencw with DR1, and while not the best port, it was still quite fun Plus it had the mission mode where you can do different challenges and get the laser mode, which is far better than infinity mode I never understood why wr couldnt leave the security room except when on missions though Amd listenning that soundtrack (i think is mall music 6) is quite chilling, like i am in a safe room of a RE game (and yes, i know how ironic that is)

I never got far into CTYD I beat Cletus and that was it, I hated how they made this game so much like Resident evil by adding the RE4 guns and changing the bosses like there are multiple Jo's as a mini boss now? They basically turned her into a freaking RE4 garrador with tasers come on man 😅, Adams theme got changed to Kents theme, the convicts are a QTE fight now what is this?! There's no Cliff! And ofc there are zombie Madonnas and Parrots Capcom added waaay too much. However the change to Cletus was pretty cool I always felt like he deserved to be saveable and help you out afterwards kinda like Paul.
