Stopping power upgrade is adds a longer stun to the enemies and I believe it opens them up for finishers. That chain gun/rocket launcher can only be picked up after you get the suit. And yes the Nemesis is defeated by throwing your glaive. The story of the game was never fully explored sadly and the game manual gives some more context. I think it was because of the changes DE had to make to please publishers back then. You can look up early Dark Sector footage and it's a completely different game, a lot closer to Warframe. They took that old footage and called it War Sector now. As the developers of both games, they added skins from this game into Warframe as a nod. But glad you enjoyed the game! Had me hooked every second of every video. I go back to play this from time to time
