I actually think Miz's run was one of the best Elden Ring playthroughs I've ever seen. Man's RAW DOGGED the ENTIRE game with a blood hound fang, and pretty much NOTHING else, also, while streaming it with almost no sleep and a toxic AF chat.

47:00 Man, that choke was real. And then again on Radabeast. I assume you found the Ancestral Spirit but Fortissax, Astel and Mohg would have pushed you over 1500 deaths. Especially if we're talking the harder versions of Astel and Mohg. There are 4 remembrances among these 6 bosses. But since you found the game too easy, you should first try every boss in the DLC, there is a guy there that's as tough as malenia. Took me 10 hours without summons.

After watching Iron Pinapple's overview of the dlc, it's waaaaaay harder than the base game, with no ways to go and over level yourself for fights you find too hard, although you didn't do that in base game so should be fine. However, the othe part of the increase in difficulty is because the dlc bosses are apparently a lot harder than those in the base game. And that's coming from iron pineapple who's a really good player when it comes to fromsoft games Also, if anyone goes to Iron Pineapples review, and they don't want to be spoiled at all, then listen to the review instead of watching it, cause the entire review uses visuals from the dlc, even if the talking doesn't really spoil anything

Big respect Miz, you had the true experience (imo). Not using summons. Not using a totally busted weapon (Bloodhound Fang is my all time souls favourite ❤️). Using all the crutches really does trivialise the game and just does not hit the same. You’re gonna love the other FromSoftware games.

Elden Ring is def the one to start with, as it's the most forgiving to new players. It gives you more freedom to level outside of bosses you struggle with to defeat them at a later date Then from there, you can replay the game whilst not needing to do this, and getting better. At which point the Souls games are better to handle. Or you can do it this way from the start i n Elden Ring, like Miz, which feels more rewarding when you do it And if you go for the latter, an alternative, is that you can do what many of us did, and raw dogged pure pain in one of the Souls games
