impossible challenge: get the pawn that starts on b2 to h8 or the pawn on g2 to a8 or for black its the pawn on b7 to h1 or the pawn on g7 to a1 basically try to have one of those pawns take on a diagonal every time and make it to the corner

I made a chess variant that needs testing. Chess and Dragons. Imagine a regular chess board however, each piece has their own health, movement, 2 different abilities/attacks and a special ability that can only be used once per piece. Check the comments if you are interested.

First and easiest Pawns. Each has only 3 health, moves passively one tile, it can attack one space diagonal forward or one square forward for an average of 3 damage with 80% chance of hitting. It has the ability to transform when it reaches the edge of the board. For this, you roll a 20 sided die, where if it is a low roll you get a knight, an average roll and you get a Bishop, a high roll and you get a Rook, a Critical One and its a Leprechaun aka an inversed Pawn, a Natural 20 and you get a Queen. Last but not least, it has the special ability of Charging two spaces forward. If there is a piece where you want to go then they switch places. PS, the pawn can use the special ability even after its first move.

Second, the Knight. He has 5 health. The knight moves passively like normal. It can deal around 4 damage in L with a 65% chance of succeding. It also has the ability to push all pieces adjacent to it to the next tile if possible, this deals only around 3 damage but it has a cooldown where you cannot use the knight next turn. Finally it has the special ability to go into camouflage for 5 total turns, it cannot move passively but it can attack, if an enemy tries to move to a square with an camouflaged knight its location will be revealed and your turn skipped.

Third, the Bishop. It has 4 health, moves passively diagonally. It can use a fireball in a diagonnal path, a projectile with 50% chance of landing in friend or foe and if it doesnt it will go to the square behind it and behind it until it either hits or goes out of bounds. If it lands it will deal around 4 damage to the target and 2 damage to all adjacent pieces including your own. It also has the ability to cast lightning where you choose either cardinal/diagonal lane and skip the turn to deal garanteed 10 damage to whatever piece was in the way. This has a cooldown where you cannot move the bishop for the next turn. Finally it has the special ability where it sacrifices itself to heal a piece.

Fourth: the ROOK. It has 7 health and moves passively cardinally It can charge in any cardinal, every tile it has to move before attacking decreases the chance by 10% starting with 90% and decreases the total damage by 1 starting with around 8. It also has the ability to throw a friendly unit adjacent to it to any square in the cardinal axis. This obviously has a cooldown. Finally, it has the special ability to become completely indestructible for 3 whole turns.

Fifth and its the Queen. She has a beefy 10 health, and moves passively normal. It can deal around 8 damage to a unit directly adjacent to it. With a 90% cchance to hit. Next, if two or more rows away from your starter row, it can launch a projectile to any lane in the cardinal or diagonal axis, this has a 75% chance to land, deals around 5 damage, and goes through pieces, this has a cooldown. Finally, it has the special ability to scorch all 2 tiles cardinally and 1 tile diagonally. This deals around 7 damage to all pieces in range, friend or foe, and leaves fire tiles, which deal 3 damage to all pieces at the end of each turn. The fire lasts for 2 turns.
