Lynn, the government through the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) has a curriculum for domestic workers destined for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which takes about 21 days. Recently, the curriculum was reviewed to separate the domestic work content and Pre-Departure content. The Pre-Departure content if well done is meant to help the girls adapt to the gulf county as well as know how to handle any challenges that may arise. After the training, the girls are assessed and issues with a transcript which enables the National Employment Authority (NEA) to process their travel through registered private recruitment agencies. The whole process for Saudi is free.

This show is for everyone not only for the people mentioned repeatedly here. Especially on money management skills….. for many of us who are well educated and earning well, we more often find ourselves still struggling financially not because of lack of money, but lack of the know how on budgeting and prioritizing. And the greatest of all….. the black tax…… being raised from a collective culture, we in abroad take up some responsibilities that have nothing to do with the needs back home, but to manage the guilty that is mostly instilled to us by culture, religion and our families…..
