You should make a game engine that can only make Flappy Bird but you can costumize everything in it. Also, you could have made a custom map for a bird (using a third party program called ImageMap if I remember correctly) and put it in an item frame that you teleport instead of the armour stand.

for the issue at 3:20, execute _at_ an entity only carries over it's position, so if you want to use @s, you need to use execute _as_ an entity

there is a way to randomize the height of the pipes using armor stands, @r, the execute command, and tag command block argument, and the clone command

The most amazing video game made in Minecraft in my opinion was made by someone known as Mr. Squishy. This person recreated the entire Pokemon Red game in 21 months. It's truly incredible. The game was recreated exactly, even including famous glitches and such. You should check it out!

Hey, I develope datapack since 3 years and I am not the worst for that (not the best too, some people are just insain) and there is lot of things you did in the worst way possible, do you want to make a video where you create a datapack but I help you on discord? Or sth like that? For exemple ont thing you did badly is that you don't want to use the tick function, for sth that's looping you can do it in a shedule function wich is way better on lot of points and for sth with player input you can trigger it with an advancement wich is easier and more optimised
