It's tedious. Combat is mostly mashing space and seeing your guy obliterate everything. The few instances that were actually challenging were just RNG. No skill involved. The horrible, horrible random encounters don't help.

after awhile the game kinda felt like an idler lol. i mean granted i play with speed but who doesn't right? i nuke every team until i eventually stumble across the level 70 single pseudo pokemon team which is a breeze within itself. however i agree that the random encounters are horrendous and without a doubt repels are my #1 bought item.
