I remember the first time I played I picked normal type (it’s my favorite dont judge me) and I thought when the original leader challenged you they just mimicked your type, I had no idea he’s just always normal

It would be an interesting challenge, having the old gym leader mimick your type could help make the fight more intresting. If you picked a type like dragon or ghost then it would get VERY explosive, while if you picked something like fire or poison it would become a war of attrition.

Yeah. A gym should definitely actually allow challenges to get through. They aren't walls, they're roadblocks meant to make sure you're ready for the next level as a Trainer

@@shalax7881 Gym Leaders are also supposed to have multiple teams of pokemon that they swap out to match the skill level of whoever they're facing against. That's why back in Silver and Gold, the gym leaders from the previous game were using teams in the level 50+ range by the time you got to them. Imagine being a rookie trainer straight out of Palette town, and the first gym you go up against has level 50 pokemon!

Hey Patterz been watching your content for a couple of years now. I noticed you like a challenge when it comes to pokemon so I wanted to inform you of Pokemon XG neXt Gen. Its the radical red version of pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. I just completed a 100% nuzlock of it and now. I challenge you to complete the nuzlock of it. you dont have to 100% cus its extremely hard but just beat the nuzlock. i played this and monopolized the building system the guy in commercial district tells you how much you get per building i placed down alot of buildings and got 174K per day I placed down some more buildings and got me 6114 per day but then i placed down 2 mesuems and got me a staggering 1.3M PER DAY?

I like this game, but I wish there was a sign or an NPC you could talk to for tips about how certain things work. Like, whenever I go on vacation or go to the break room, it asks if I want to bring the gym trainers or train with them. As far as I can tell, there's no reason not to do either of these things or any clear incentive to do them, so I always just say yes because why not? More frustrating is the building system. All I can make out is that the buildings affect how much you get paid every day, but it's not clear how exactly they affect it. You'd think paying 10k out of pocket for a building you can't even interact with would improve your revenue vs. just leaving that spot empty, but if I ask the guy how much I'm making before and after building something, I'm often making less afterwards, even though I built exactly what he suggested. There's no way to see the direct affect of each project or even just keep track of which identical building is which, so I just started ignoring it.
