i mean, the enemy team isn't right for using such language sure, but there is no way of contesting the point that if a jet pilot is really good there is just little to no counterplay and just ruins the game for everyone

3 years late but the problem is how weak launchers are, I play multiple evenings a week and don't mind great pilots but the amount of launcher shots it takes to get a kill is very frustrating. Some work better than others of course, but the Scoreboard almost always ends with a pilot or 2 getting a redonk 67-2 or the like. Credit to you pilots out there of course but makes being on the ground a challenge for us non pilots, that's for dam sure. Regardless, BF4 is where it's at, the other iterations don't come close so I will happily take my ass whoopings by sweaties like silk if it means populated servers continue (I don't see that stopping :).

Maybe a bit in the lead up to the next title to brush off the dust. To counter a pilot like me, your best friend is the one shot guidable missiles. TVs, TOWs and SRAWs either deny the pilot from farming or shut them down.

I think a lot of the origination behind the salt against aircraft is the lack of effective counters that isn't either a really good SPAA player or a TOW launcher. Lock-ons are kinda useless due to their range and the fast cooldown of countermeasures unless you have a buddy and do the javelin cheese (which admittedly does feel good but it is very cheaty feeling as well).
