Stevie Nicks was firing shots! 😈💀 One of the best performances ever. She truly put a spell on the entire world, not just Lindsey. Her raspy ethereal voice and profoundly poetic lyrical genius- truly a force to be reckoned with. That side-eye is particularly vicious too. 👀>😏 The best art- no matter the medium- is truly often born of genuine pain and suffering. And the result is transcendent, relatable, and beautiful. Sometimes beyond comprehension. Stevies' sorcery is something else. Otherworldly. Epic. Timeless. Haunting. Who would ever want to get away from her voice? Only a fool. 😆💀 The dynamic between these two & their willingness to put it all out there for the whole world to witness..? Fkn brilliant! Thanks for doing this one @Sceez- made my day! You're the man! 😘🤘

Ohhhhh my GAWD!!! I have watched this again and again. Silver Springs is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, and this performance is crazy! The history of this band is so complex, how they were able to stay together and sings these songs from the Rumors Album is beyond me! Stevie is literally screaming these lyrics at Lindsey. At her first glance at him, you can see that he is a little pissed that she is actually calling him out on stage...but as she gets squared up to him and let's him know what is what...he starts to look at little like "oh shit, she's gonna do it"!! Such a great reunion concert...they were an incredible band in all aspects. Even when airing their dirty laundry every night on stage! Great reaction!!!

He is egging her on to help pull the performance out (she said she didn't like the previous 2 days) - watch him lean into her. As the Musical Director and Producer (and arranger) for The Dance it was part of his job. She said she let loose here because they were in a very good place. Later during the tour they changed it up with him walking towards her as she sing shouts at him and then holding his arms out wide. FM at times was as much musical theater as rock band. Let's him know what he did - he had the nerve to move on after she cheated on him (In 2012 she said she did 2 or 3 times and he always forgave her), dumped him and moved on to Don Henley within a month. Christine said Lindsey got tired of waiting around (she'd left before and come back) and feeling bad so he got some girlfriends then Stevie couldn't handle it. Stevie confirmed it made her ill to see him with new girls at breakfast to the point she had to leave the room. Thus SS.

The context is Lindsey hadn't played with the group for 10 years at this point. The show was put together by MTV for the 20th anniversary of "Rumours." Because this song was left off of "Rumours" it was rarely played live before this. Stevie was beyond pssd they left her song off the LP. So performing this with Lindsey was cathartic for her and also finally getting the song it's recognition was very emotional.

No doubt about it...... tension on steroids. The looks between Stevie and Lyndsey were like daggers being thrown and hitting thier target. Stevie was relentless in this performance, all up in Lyndsey's face. Musically, I felt this song was amongst thier best. That short guitar solo from Lyndsey just sends me over to la la land, my goodness, how beautiful!. It just begs one to wonder, how can such musical beauty exist in the midst of such personal relationship turmoil. A very entertaining reaction, TY.

This was the 1st time the band performed the tune live. It is her response to 'Go Your Own Way'. Fleetwood cut it from the 'Rumours' album, and she was really angry. She always thought this was a hit as well. Guess she was proved right. She and Buckingham have always had a complicated relationship.

@@jeffk.9075 this was also one of the only times she really was able to perform it in front of the whole world (except at concerts with a limited audience) seeing as it was just the B side to Go Your Own Way. There’s a bigger story with that song. Stevie wrote it for their album Rumours back in 1977, but the band ( Mic and Lindsey) did not allow it to be included in the album because it was too long. Stevie was pissed as all hell about that. She tried releasing the song in her solo album , Belladonna 1981 but because she had written the song under the band Fleetwood Mac, they owned the rights to the song and they did not release the song for her to use. This had been a huge problem and had created a huge rift between Stevie and the band. Finally they included it in this live concert album in 1997 and it became a big hit for them.

It's sad because you know that they still love each other, otherwise, they wouldn't have these overwhelming emotion for each other. When you fall out of love with someone, you just don't care what or who they do. You just move on, but they never did. He still says they never got their closure. He's been married for years. Why does he need closure? Why doesn't she want him in the band? I can be in the same room with my Ex and his new girlfriend because it doesn't bother me because we're done and I've moved on. It's just over. So, what's up with these two?
