That this was done to honor an amazing woman who died from cancer - beautiful! My mother-in-law died from ovarian cancer 9 days ago, and I'm still grieving quite a bit. We all learned of the diagnosis in early Jan., and were told with treatment she'll live for years. So, the brave woman pursued everything she was told to. Less than 2 months later she was in the hospital, and soon was on palliative care. We need cures for all cancers! I dedicate this to my mother-in-law, another amazing woman!

Your Sister would not have passed "IF" the medical profession got their heads out of their asses! There are cures for cancers "But" your trusted Doctor would lose money! The drug makers would lose money all the way down to the guy that digs your grave! "Shame on you greedy medical people for treating us sick people like slabs of meat on a hook with a number on it!"

WOW!! I just came across this...& no pun intended, but it truly IS an “amazing” video. Phenomenal job one and all, & so utterly inspiring. Btw, does anyone have any info on the primary dancer in the beginning, the whom I term “helmsman” for everyone? It’s patently clear that she MUST be a professional dancer. Anyway, great job, again, ladies...& great job TORONTO!!👍👏 An aside here, but thx also for “sharing” with us Yanks one of your national treasures...the one and only Gordon Lightfoot!!

You obviously have a tainted view of what you think a flash mob is. It takes dozens and dozens of behind the scenes people to setup and arrange something as awesome as this. Any and EVERY flash mob has had some sort of choreography. Some professional, and some amatuer production. A flashmob doesn't just happen. It's planned, coordinated, setup and choregraphed to some degree or another.

@charlottemina I will pray for you :) Compassion is free and what this world needs to share more of. I would like (LOVE) to help you by sharing with you that compassion is free. I use compassion to forget all about my fears and the struggles that I face everyday. Living for today and creating my positive in life not dwelling on the negativity that surrounds me daily. Myself and God can truly make me happy but I must meet him half way. God Bless you lets pray he will lay his healing hands on you

To the 27 people who disliked, may you NEVER have to go through life losing someone close to you, obviously you havn't,or you would truly UNDERSTAND the reason behind this. It is a public display of affection honoring a friends life. Its amazing how your whole perspective changes and priorities once you lose a loved one.Only the important things matter. Each and every one of these people did this out of love for this person. One can only hope people will think enough of them after they have passed.

27 sad people disliked so far. This was an amazing idea, a healing moment for those affected by cancer. Wonderful that there are still some people capable of overcoming their inhibitions and having fun at the same time as making an emotional statement... unlike the insecure and narrow-minded cynics so venom-filled they can't do anything but hate in their spare time. All we can do is send them good wishes and hope they never have to learn the hardest way what really matters. Brava Kim!

Trust in God and he will give you strength and courage to smile at those who ask you how are you feeling today, to get out of bed and get the children off to school, to keep going to dr after dr, having hope after hope...trust in him he will provide. I AM A SURVIVOR! I BELIEVE!

For all my amazing women friends This dance video was organized by Kim MacGregor. Kim created this as a tribute to her best friend Erika Heller who died of colon cancer last year at age 31. Every telephone conversation they ever had Erika ended by telling Kim "You're an amazing woman"! So Kim wanted to do something special to honour her friend and this is the result. It was filmed at the Toronto Eaton Centre. (my sister forwarded it to me)

It is nice video..I would like to tell all those who have lost their mom,or someone close, that we all are connected, and that they are with us anyway..in depth of our souls we know that.....also, i have to say that there is a few medicines for a cancer, but pharmaceutical industry does not tell us that, because of profite, they earning on us,so they do not want to find out for drugs..if someone who see this post have a question about that, i am here to help (or read alternative medicine books)

@teambrucas57575 I'm sorry but the fact remains that removing a lacklustre performance from the dingy dance studios where its practiced and putting it in a different setting does not make for art, Its public disturbance at most. I don't deplore the intiative, I'm just tired of giving accolades where they're not due. Mediocrity stinks. And btw, come on man its 'their' not 'there'.

This is a tear jerker.... what would happen if we could "believe" first in our God, the God of all people, all colors, all countries, all religions that promote "LOVE" and then, "believe" that this God dwells in the hearts of all, believing in ourselves and our fellow beings... what might be possible? Thank you KIM!!!!

@mullyjf I completely understand your daughter's loss. I also lost a girl friend of mine to the same disease,at 26 also back in 1990. I still think of her often, and wished she was able to enjoy a fuller life. This disease usually takes life at a much younger age,and I was blessed and glad to have her in the world as long as she was. Much sympathy to your daughter.
