This is great but I can’t play with finger picks did you always play with picks or did you finger pick first then learn with picks ?

I started playing when I was 16. I realized, I couldn't really get the sound I was searching for with bare fingers. I put them on at age 19 and it was like trying to learn to play all over again. It took months to adjust. But I persevered and am glad I did.
