Walking up hills is good exercise and way to take off pounds. The views were great on this walk.

Good morning Hannah, another lovely walk and beautifully showcased, what a lively bunch too! The veiws are always reward enough for any climb. Loved the vintage fields too, starting to come out near us too. Last man standing award goes to that bluebell too, we salute it! Great evening for a stroll and thanks for sharing it with us 🤗 Spectacularly quiet track too, good betting! Although you could have just closed your eyes to avoid seeing anyone too 😑🤭 Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕👍♥️

Great walk again Hanna. That building site surely not legal spilling over a right of way and national trail ? This keeps happening and people check out your local council as so many people trying to ruin our countryside and walks!! We must challenge them 👊

What a beautiful walk... And not seeing anyone is a bigger bonus... Loved how you stroked the grass 🤣 it's a proper human thing to do 🤣😂 unless we're just odd 🤣🤣 looks a great trail... Have a look at a trail called the heart of wales line trail.. I've just completed it this weekend... Such a scenic and beautiful trail, you can do it in sections by using the train service.. Take care and have a good week. X

There is nothing like a good walk after a day in the office! Never a truer word spoken. Loved the video. As a Kentish man now living in Scotland, your channel brings back good memories growing up in the Ken countryside. Keep up the good work.

Hi Paul, thanks so much. I am happy you can see Kent through my videos. Although Scotland is an epic place to live (I went to uni there). Thanks so much.

The colour of the barley in that first field - amazing! The best thing about going up the Downs - is the views you get - it's always worth it. And there's the buzz that goes with it! Every Down has an 'Up'. And which windmill was that? Great video Hannah!
@TheWildNative3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely agree! The views were epic too. The windmill is Charing Hill windmill. I’m sure that earthworks isn’t permanent!

This footage is absolutely crisp and vivid. Is this the new camera? What a delightful trail. I’ll take that wager next time 🙃 Fun stuff, Hannah!

I was just looking for north downs way videos and I think I may have met you on trail the other day while I was hiking it. I had the green pack with the shiny roll mat and was planning to bail out in Ashford because of all the rain. I did end up quitting, but planning to go back later next week to finish it off. Such a coincidence to find you on youtube after bumping into you haha

Hey Jack! It was great to meet you. I was hoping you were ok. Good to hear you’ll be back to finish off the walk. Fingers crossed for better weather. What a coincidence!!!!

Hi there! So happy to have found your channel! Just subbed to support not only a fellow KZbin vlogger but also a fellow hiker chic out there in the outdoors. You look so happy being outdoors, you can tell it's your element. Your energy is contagious! You were made to be a vlogger, ha ha! Looking forward to watching more of your future adventures. Oh and if you see my comment twice, YT is actinging up and I had to retype my comment a 2nd time. LOL!

I noticed the re routed footpath with fence and newly planted hedge. In a few years the view from there will be gone. We do see a lot of walkers around here especially in lockdown. Less now though
@TheWildNative3 жыл бұрын
I hope we can still see that little view! There are lots of epic views along the downs so hopefully they don’t all disappear!
@timoytickets77002 жыл бұрын
You didn't see anybody on those paths did you? It amazes me how everyone else knew they should stay away from them that day!!! I suppose for self-preservation the rumours must spread round really quickly!! You've grown to expect these things by now I expect Hannah!! Only joking young sausage. Thanks for the vid and "Keep Trucking"!!!

Tell your mates, when next you walk UP the Downs Way, that you were going backwards. You could even warn them in advance by stating in your email/invite/announcement that it will be a backwards hike Up the Downs Way. Your annunciation makes it possible for the hearing impaired to read your lips! Please keep it that way! The closed captioning is often inaccurate. Especially when unfamiliar words and names come along. Thank you for that! While I am not hearing impaired, I am a big fan of increased accessibility. Fan? Proponent? Complainer? How are the students doing without their favorite? Have they found a new favorite? Great video! As always but something is different. Changes are afoot, and good changes I suspect. Fingers crossed! Not sure i trust a bet when the better is also the film editor. Also, I forget sometimes just how close you are to the sea. Does Kent have lovely sea walks like Cornwall? Thanks for the smile! I forgot to grab one on the way out the door this morning.
@TheWildNative3 жыл бұрын
Good to know you can read my lips. Thanks for your lively comments as always. Yes I agree a change is coming, good you feel it too. Whitstsble coast is not that similar to Cornwall. It is flatter here and pebbles. It is a bay on an estuary. I love it! Happy Travels 😀
@maobfh3 жыл бұрын
@@TheWildNative I can rarely read lips, sometimes I manage when i really try but never get past 50%. Clear annunciation and repeating a movement to make a sound is how you teach children to talk. I remember at 18 months old, having a firm grasp on our language and am strongly opposed to baby talk. If you want your child to be well spoken, you speak the languages that you want them to speak. Baby talk amuses them but teaches them poor habits. Neurologists were always amazed at how well my kids spoke as toddlers and they were always presumed to be highly intelligent. All because I taught them to speak. If a baby is watching your mouth when you talk to it, watch it mimic that movement. They want to know how to make that sound to tell people what they want vs. the frustration of 50 guesses when they just want you to straighten their top or give them whatever you just gave their brother. The beginnings of frustration and temper. Oops. I can find a soapbox in the middle of a corn field. Sorry!
