Thanks so much for this. I live only 10 miles from Canterbury but I’m housebound now. It’s great to walk vicariously in my native county.

Thank you for this. So pretty. It's an amazing time we live in when we can see the world through someone else's eyes.

This just popped up as a video I might like (quite right!). I know it's three years since you made this, but it is a brilliant walk. I've done this walk one and a half times, and it's full of memories for me 😀. I'm looking forwards to doing it again one day.

Great video Hannah! That field of flowers was amazing! I love that your walks go from countryside into a town, that is so great.

Hi Thanks a lot. Yes Canterbury is a great town to finish a walk in. :)

Looks like a brilliant walk. Would love to visit Canterbury, looks like a fascinating place to explore. Love your sheep shots! We visited the Royal Cornwall show last week and found sheep watching very interesting, was amazed how many different varieties there are. :)
@TheWildNative6 жыл бұрын
There are so many sheep! Everywhere, ha! And all the different varieties yes. Canterbury is a great city and it is quite small so you can explore it in a day and not feel too lost!

Good to see another video. The countryside is always interesting and the river seems to flow at a quick pace and would make for a good kayaking experience.

Yes you can kayak the river stour further down. There is so much to see in the countryside.

The best walls are always the early ones, I am always amazed at the people who do not get at till mid day. Real colourful walk out, so peaceful as well and clearly signposted. Surprised at the mud about there, I think we must have been getting your normal weather Up North, as we are having a bit of a drought here at the mo. Loved the castle and village walk along the River to Canterbury, a fine days walking indeed. Cheers Alan

Yes I agree, get up early and then you can always go to bed early ha! There always seems to be mud somewhere in Kent. It is a running joke with my walking group :)

That looks an excellent 12 miler Hannah. Great mixture of views. I sometimes give into the crisps notion too on a hike. My achilles heel being cheese & onion variety......😁 Take care..........Andy 😉👍👍

"I meet very few people on my walks and I like this feeling of isolation." I'm the same, the less humans I see the better. I thought it was just me and my introversion, but it seems to be a common sentiment among walkers in general. I'm surprised more people don't spend their weekends exploring the countryside but I'm glad they don't.

We struggled finding the start point from Wye - out of interest was it close to the station?
@TheWildNative5 жыл бұрын
Yes it is close to the station, walk into the village and turn left into the churchyard and you should see a sign there :) Happy Travels!
