Sosuke if you think about it, its not that much. Its thr fact that it will have a 3rd accident report, the title is no longer clean, and the car has over 100k miles. No matter how rare it will not bring the 20k market value Sam is referring to. This car repaired with the title and accident history will sell for no more than $13,500. You take into consideration the repairs we have to do and price of sale doesnt include the 300$ auction fee. This car is non-profitable if repaired. In parts value we estimate it around 10-12k

You got off lucky. That merc was a disaster with that interior damage. The drivers side floor would have been very expensive to repair properly, then the front would be bent most likely, and you still have alot of parts to buy...

Alot of this car comprises of HSS ( high strength steels ) You technicially arent allowed to repasome of the stuf. It needs to be replaced.. This car would have cost a fortune to fix

It's nice to be able to go look at the cars in person, One of my local salvage sites (Pickles in Australia) only allows some cars to be looked at if i remember correctly only the on site auction cars they let you look. The other ones you have to just chance it now as they put the cars up on racks. Its a real shame that someone who is interested in a project car cant even look over a car to decide if its worth their time or if they will be forced to part it out

I'm currently repairing a 2007 Audi Q7 with vandal damage (fire in the back seat). It's always had wheels to sit on, but it still sat at the auction for so long that the rubber in the suspension components have gone bad. It's not cheap to replace. That's 8 control arms plus the sway bar links and tie rod ends to repair/replace, and those are even more likely to be damaged if it's sitting on the rotors like that one at 4:27

I think the easiest option for the AMG wagon would be to use a donor shell. It looks like that one has suffered pretty severely in structural areas which could make it a very testing repair in terms of requiring the replacement of a lot of structural components...

Haha, I love the first one. My first thought was 'communicate, communicate, communicate'. And indeed, pick your AirBNB by how much the owners say they want to inform you about the town/city/country you're visiting. If they love their country and want to share it, they're bound to be good hosts too :). So by all means if you want a nice AirBNB, read all they have to say, read other guests' reviews. It doesn't take more than an hour to find an AirBNB that way and you can be sure you have a nice one. Also, when going to big cities, take into account the public transport costs. You can save so much money by getting a slightly more expensive AirBNB that's close to a main transport hub, allowing you to skip a daily bus/trainride to get to wherever you want to go. Last time we had an AirBNB it was so immaculate we couldn't even fold the sheets the way she did if our lives depended on it. And we tried, it became a challenge, but she was just too good at this. But other than that, yes. Leave the place as you found it, or better. It will make you stand out compared to many other guests so that definitely ups your rating. Honestly, except for the 'communicate your ass off' if you didn't already figure the other things mentioned, you probably shouldn't use AirBNB :D. Still, great video! Nice overview. Let's hope you improved some hosts lives with this :D (So far I only had 5 star ratings and nice reviews as a guest, phew!).

i owned a 2005 e55 as a daily for 4 years, just because folks own one doesn't mean they know how to drive it. There are a ton of expensive little parts you dont see behind that front bumper that are crushed & expensive.

There are some Copart Yards that will not allow you to bid unless you have a valid business License. Licenses such as dealer license, scrap business. etc etc. Unless you use a third party to bid for you, which costs money. Copart was a good site to purchase cars from a long time ago. Now you have a better chance on Ebay then getting a good deal on Copart. Copart is advertised World Wide and has a very competitive bidding population. Plus by allowing people to enter bids, that have no clue even what they are looking at when reviewing a damaged vehicle. Just tends to drive up the price even more so on the block. Remember 2 things if you are using Copart for profit. 1.Reselling a once wrecked vehicle having a salvage history, significantly diminishes the resale value of the car, & most potential buyers will steer clear of vehicles with Salvaged history. 2.Selling a reconstructed auto exposes sellers to a Liability. As you the seller either pays to have the vehicle repaired or does it themselves prior to the sale. If that vehicle is involved in another serious collision, & if investigators had found the cause of the accident to have been caused by a faulty repair in which you took a role in. Then You can bet your ASS a Law Firm will be seeking you. Here is another Auction Site www.iaai.com very similar to Copart.

WOW The brakes on the charger @7:03 are so tiny. And you can tell its a charger from the design of the pillar in the rear where it meets with the rear door.

The cost of Mercedes airbags puts the E55 into a different price bracket and I suspect the drivers didn't go off because there has been a previous prang and the bag wasn't replace and/or an emulator put in it's place to fool the main control unit.

That AMG E55 is good to part out. That's it. Anyone who would buy a vehicle that had that much STRUCTURAL DAMAGE is putting themselves in an unnecessary risk. That's a TOTAL LOSS.
