The reason why Lucifer wasn’t in the final battle until he was was because of his deal he made with heaven that he can’t interfere with the exterminations but exorcists can’t kill hellborn “your hellborn kind pardoned from a exorcist blade…” You notice he punches Adam in the face right after his mask glitches (and Lute’s), because that was the moment the deal was off, because he harmed Charlie and Lute killed dazzle. This was the deal that Lute was talking about with Lilith at the end probably. Also this confirms the cannibals are sinners because they killed some in the final battle and in the opening scene in the pilot :3

i’m interested in whether the ten commandments even exist in this show. like, literally none of them corrected adam when he just listed “be selfless, don’t steal, stick it to the man,” and even the seraphim couldn’t tell Charlie what got someone into heaven when they could have at least clarified the most important points Adam missed… or maybe the angels don’t know about them, only humans? idk, it would be weird that none of them know how to get there if they had a whole 10 point process on exactly how to get there (although in actuality it would be receiving Jesus, not following commandments, but neither Jesus nor God have been mentioned at all so idk if they’re even included in this either)

This also means the Bible is either extremely different, mostly made up, or flat out doesn't exist in the series. Saint Peter also exists, which complicates things even more since Jesus shouldn't exist.

Probably one of my favorite things about HH that isn't fully plot related is whenever a character's voice starts echoing. It's a really nice touch to show how powerful some characters can be (my favorite moment of this is Charlie's echo in ep 4 because it pairs so nicely with the smooth transition to her full demon form). Also, why do I feel like the line "usually I charge a sacrificial lamb" was foreshadowing Dazzle's sacrifice?

Yeah but cause of that the pacing was pretty bad. 6 months flew by way too fast. More standalone “filler” stories would have made the pacing better, letting things like angel’s supposed rehabilitation outta drug abuse in episode 6 actually make sense if we see him actually get better about that in more “filler” stories

I just recently watched this myself for the first time and I loved it, easy 9.5/10 for me as well. There was only a few minor inconsistencies that bugged me. Like how Rosie doesn't really have any reaction to Alastor when he appeared in the Overlords meeting, but acted like they hadn't see each other in ages when he came by with Charlie.

Your personality has always rang through in what you do and it has given me so many thousands of hours of content over the years. I know KZbin may not be your future forever but for as long as you choose to make content I will follow your Journey. I am right in your age bracket and seeing what you have accomplished is really inspiring. Hazbin Hotel is another truly inspiring piece of media. Vivziepop has succeeded. She made her dream a reality regardless of what it took. Even if she didn't make a single dime on this, she did get her show published. That is so fufilling from one creative to another. I watched the original KZbin pilot before I watch this show and I will say that this is one of those times when a show turns out to be everything you hoped for and more I like the new cast compared to the old one I do miss alastor's voice a little from the pilot but they couldn't have picked a better voice actor for the new one Did anybody notice that Niffty steals a patch of Vals fur. I bring up that patch because Alastor is a practitioner of voodoo magic Anyone who is said to practice Voodoo is able to produce or create curses against their opponents They do this by taking a piece of hair or clothing from the victim and then using that piece of hair clothing to put a curse on it and attach it to the person Niffty said it was for her collection when she ripped Vals hair off but what if she stole it for Alastor to use against Val later. Remember Alastor is the type of guy who showed up and started beating the strongest of the strong without trying He took on overlords one after the other defeating them and the V's are not as strong as those that he beat He refused to join the team when Vox asked him to join and when they fought he almost lost to Alastor. Although I'm more for the idea of TV and radio making an appearance together which would be even more Epic of a tag team. As for the other characters they are extremely well written and the show is worth every ounce of hype it's getting

Lute is an angel, and one that outranked vaggie at that, so she might have assumed that lute could just naturally do that. demons have always been viewed as below heaven, though, and it’s never been heard of before that a demon harmed an angel, so it probably seemed like it was just naturally impossible

There’s a reason why Husk’s outfit didn’t change in 36:37. In the pilot, he did have a different outfit. In the pilot, when Alastor changed everyone’s outfits, Husk did get a different look. The colors of his wings were inverted and he was wearing suspenders. Both of these things were put into his redesign for the series, hence why his appearance barely changed.
