So if you ask me, I don’t think they are done having children especially not having a girl at the moment. They are such great parents to their boys. At times I feel like it’s inevitable, they’re gonna slip up lol. I intently don’t ask about more kids cause it’s annoying and I enjoy being surprised. Also, they’re on this career chase so who know 🤷🏾♂️

I was emotional when I watched The Eliss's Vlog when you had just had Kaz and you wanted to start out on your own and work... The open discussion that you and Devale had about your finances and the purchases you made always popping up... I felt that... But when you said towards the end of the vlog "just watch me make it" I was inspired and even more so now that you have your own Channel. You're truly something, girl. Thank you for being an inspiration and encouragement. Your strength, passion and energy is catching ✨

Go Khadeen I love that you put this topic out there because its something some women definitely should consider especially when you want to feel 100 percent comfortable, free, healthy, and in safe hands. I appreciate your midwife's advice yes as black women I keep hearing that statistic and it alarms us but in a good way to do our homework and research with different options. This is something if having multiple children you should definitely do. Your first child there's just something about having your first baby in a hospital where your doctor and you can trust each other too. Especially when they have seen you the entire 3 trimesters you know that your relationship and trust is secure.

I spent the better part of adulthood dreaming of having a natural home birth. Unfortunately, I had to undergo an open myomectomy to remove large fibroids that were preventing me from conceiving. I'm now pregnant, and I'm so grateful that the surgery worked, but that also means I'm no longer a candidate for vaginal birth. All of my focus will now go into having a whole healthy baby 😃
@kryssiewoo514 жыл бұрын
Hi mama, a friend of mine just went through this on January as well. She has been having a hard time conceiving for more than a year plus. She said her tubes are also blocked, so what I wanted to ask, is there anything you can advise me to tell her in conceiving successfully? She already has a child vaginally but if her tubes are blocked as well as the fibroids, can she not conceive now after the myomectomy? Does she really have to do another surgery to unblock her tubes?
@simplyp55214 жыл бұрын
I haven’t had my surgery yet but I did do some research. Doctors suggest c-sections because the risk of the uterus rupturing, you can have a Vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean).
@JoiDior4 жыл бұрын
@@kryssiewoo51 Wow. The treatment depends on the reason for the blockage. I'm not too familiar with that, but I know there are natural treatments depending on the root cause. If the blockage is a result of scarring from the surgery, then she may need to go back in for a procedure to unlock it. If it's just one tube that's blocked, she can still conceive from the other side. I'm wishing her all the best. Women have to go through so much.

"I be bonding with brownies...and stuff like that 👀🤣😂 The very first video I saw with you guys was the home birth vlog. I was researching because I know I don't want my future children delivered in a hospital. I only child is 13 and I honestly don't remember a lot about her birth but I've been watching labor and delivery videos with my fiancé as were planning to have a baby within the next 2 years and I'm seeing all the horror stories for women of color in particular and I realized, women have been giving birth for millions of years prior to epidurals and medical "advances". Seeing you do it at home though, surrounded by all that love and tranquility made me certain I wanted to do a homebirth with a midwife! So, THANK YOU for documenting that! 💕

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I love love love this video ! S/O to your Midwife for pulling out of retirement for these women who may want to have home water births during this madness in the world !! She's the best for that !!! I also appreciate the both of youu educating Us women on Our Bodiess !!! I'm a Young Mommy of 3 & I've always wanted to have natural births w no meds but didn't get to experience that. My first one , I tore internally as well. They said I tore a muscle . With my second & third child I was induced. Buttt w my second child being induced wasn't that bad for me , my dr was awesome & I had my baby w an ease. But w my third child , it was terrible !!! I kept saying they must change the meds every yr because w my second child it wasn't that bad. Soo yesss , I truly believe & understand what your Midwife was explaining how in the hospital they look at pain as a negative which is crazy they would even do so. But all they care about is money which make sense 🤦🏾♀️ Sooo againnnn Sis thankss for sharing w Us !!! Even though w Jax, it was a bad experience for youu ... Thank you for this! I just gave birth to my second baby (a boy 💙) last month. My experience in the hospital was so different than with my daughter. The biggest difference was the epidural didn’t work. I didn’t tear for either baby...my son was born 7lbs 3oz. It took a long time to get feeling back in my legs to the point where the nurses were talking about physical therapy. Thank God I didn’t need it. When we came home I told my boyfriend that if we ever have another baby I would like to have a home birth. I just felt that the epidural was pointless since it didn’t work and because of Coronavirus I couldn’t have some of my family with me (my daughter met her baby brother in the car on the way home from the hospital) I figured it would be best to just have a baby at home. So thank you for sharing your experience with us ❤️

Great vlog! Luv your honesty on home birth. So many people think you ALWAYS have to go to the hospital. I work in healthcare and know it's not true. A doula, midwife, etc. can guide you accordingly. Women have been having children before hospitals. P.S. A lot of women don't know hospitals will charge you for skin-to-skin contact with your own baby.
