Speaking as a man, this stuff makes me fell aggravated. I did time when I was younger. I can tell you that rapists, and child molesters are not even accepted by other criminals. We actually had a dude come in bragging that he'd raped a white girl. I guess he thought that would give him more cred with the blacks. Instead, they stood back, and watched as we beat the brakes off that dude. Do as much damage as you can before the laws fire off gas, and bean bag rounds. Anyways, I've never understood why women blame themselves in these situations. It was never them, and always the man. I do understand the mistrust, and all that. I feel for these women. I'm one those kinds of guys that wants to fix them, but knows I can't.
@elijahmontgomery41464 жыл бұрын
The people who say "she deserved it" because of the situation she was in piss me off too. No, you shouldn't get wasted at a house party and strut through a bunch of wasted frat rats, that's absolutely stupid. No nobody, no matter how stupid, "deserves" to get raped. The perpetrator is just as disgusting whether they raped some wasted idiot at a party, or abducted a random stranger from off the street. I don't support taking the law into your own hands... except in this case. Life in prison isn't good enough for that level of low life.
@AudieHolland4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your honesty. As an outsider, I have heard and read that rapists do not have happy lives in prison. *Added:* During the 1970s, the dominant theory was that women who were raped somehow 'deserved it.' You know, blaming the victim. Like today people will blame a pedestrian for being run over by a motorist - 'he/she must have been walking on the wrong side or should have worn more reflective clothing.' In those bad years, and probably during the decades before, rape was being handled dismissively by the authorities, including the police. So female victims of rape were being told 'they must have done something' that caused them to be raped.
@OutlawCaliber134 жыл бұрын
@@AudieHolland I don't think rapists were accepted even back then. I know some old school guys that've been in for decades, and their stance was no different. The inside vs the freeworld view is a bit different though. Call it sexist, but the general view is that men are stronger than women, and therefore you're supposed to protect them. I know some kick ass women, but in general the average woman is not going to be able to take on a man. Inside, we're warriors. We're soldiers, fighters, etc. Gang, solo, don't matter. That's the mindset. I'd trust a lot of convicts with my wife, and kid over most regular freeworld folks.

I always get so depressed when I read about rape crime in media of my country. This is the thing that I hate so much, that there is nothing I wouldn't want to be done to rapists. They are disgrace to men disserve the worst. Good thing that in my country rape crimes became a bit more punishable and public outcry helps to get bigger sentences for rape shitheads. After some unbelievably horrible crimes that happened in 2013-2014 public has more awareness for this stuff and I always urge women around me to be careful.
@miesvaillanykyisyytta32524 жыл бұрын
Whatever one's crime was, every convict is brought in to be punished and rehabilitated. By the time someone is in prison, they are already paying a heavy price and there is zero need for vengeance for retribution. All it accomplishes is the convict committing the assault gets to spend even more time with his victim by prolonging his sentence.

I've been in an abusive relationship, it was the hardest time in my life. It was so bad that I went to a women's shelter (after speaking to the police with no help to be given) to ask for help only to be met with hostility and anger. I eventually turned to feminism (which I thought believed in equality) to speak about men's rights and how we seem to be ignored by the system only to be laughed out of a meeting. I fell into a dark hole that only recently I've been able to pull myself out. I can't tell you how many MGTOW videos I watched. They only made me feel worse and spawned an anger inside me I don't have words to describe. I eventually found this channel and my anger subsided. I was physically abused by a teacher when I was a kid in the early seventies. No one believed me, because I had ADHD, and was therefore a problem child. I had to go back to that mans classroom everyday for three years. He was the end of my formal education. I was ten when I started in his “class” and thirteen when it ended. I tried to stay in school after that but quit when I was sixteen. He destroyed me, my self esteem, my confidence, and my body. He’s never been punished, or held accountable. I myself have been reasonably successful, there was a short part of my life that I abused drugs. That lasted about five years, before I realized it was a path to nowhere. It also led to some behavioral problems, especially right after it happened. As a kid when someone treats you badly you tend to think it’s okay to do that to others, (It’s not). @seanpurdy82304 жыл бұрын
I would argue against this. You'd be surprised how many men struggle to prevent their own personal issues and feelings from boiling over and causing them to behave recklessly. The entire problem with abuse from both sides of the relationship regardless of gender is that they rarely stem from the person opposite the abuser. For example: The Depp-Heard scenario. I highly doubt that Johnny Depp as a person is the reason why she behaved the way she did. The way she treated him certainly didn't start with him, nor was it because of him. She brought emotional baggage with her into that relationships that could have been acquired as long ago as her childhood. Unsurprisingly, like most abusers in relationships, she either diminishes the severity of her actions or outright dismisses them as ever occurring. That's the tell-tale sign that she has absolutely no clue why she acts the way she does. She needs help understanding that so she can change. A man could be the be a perfect person to his spouse for 10 years, and then after a nasty divorce where he may lose his son, becomes an overly irate person who becomes aggressive at the thought of living the rest of his life absent of his son... like he experienced when his mom forced him away from his own father. There are triggers for this behavior, and it's not as cut and dry as you're making it sound here.

I had a friend who was on the bandwagon for "all men are predators" and stuff, but had lots of male and female friends being extroverted and all. She experienced something really bad from a man, but coming out of it, other men made up a solid part of her support system and were mostly respectful and a good logical voice about what to do and how to recover, how to pick herself up in the sea of pity and revengeful words (as in "he sucked, all men are the same, wish I could bash them in") she was recieving from other girls. She learned most men ARENT pigs and are some of the most solid people she knows. Now she's experienced it, her narrative changed. Bless

Get fucked, lady, I hope your SS money doesn't cover you and whatever nasty addictions you may have on the side. To any young men entering the workforce, I offer this advice: Do not offer any type of emotion to your coworkers, male or female, do not vent to them, above all else do not complain to them about fellow coworkers. Go get some friends outside work if you need to vent, your coworkers are at best unreliable, at worst, your active enemy.

@A Berryman To what effect? These comment sections turn into a bloodbath if you bare your soul to strangers, eventually. And laws support the ideas of virtuous women no matter the circumstance, per the Depp/Heard case. I refuse to engage with anyone who will assume my guilt in provoking another to do violence against me, which has happened with increasing frequency in the comment section on multiple platforms. All I will say is if the roles were reversed I'd be restricted in my ability to wear any color but orange. Perhaps this: if these stories need to be heard then people need to listen with a certain amount of care instead of assuming guilt and making claims unjustly.. Because a healthy society cannot be comprised of people with no stake in it's future because it has no stake in thiers, respectively. If you read all of this I appreciate your time. If you read this with the intent to understand why people keep this type of emotional distress hidden from others I appreciate your desire to help. It doesn't happen as often as you might think.

A cynic despises humanity by decree of a shattered ideal, a skeptic merely observes, questions, and comes to a conclusion that is subject to change. Humans are tribal by nature, both science and history proves that to be a fact. Humans can only care in the capacity of seeing others as an extension of themselves, in other words, as part of their tribe. For that very reason, selfishness is a necessary cruelty, because without it, we wouldn't be able to care for one another at all. Where the problem resides is in the redundancy. When self preservation doesn't extend to the rest of the tribe, when it harms the rest of the tribe.

Entitlement, from either gender, leads to assault, abuse and hate. The misplaced entitlement of toxic people is never a victim asking for it or "your fault". There are wonderful men and women and as any group there are toxic people, many who get away with it and do it again. I'm sorry you went through that.
@Kyle-jb7dc4 жыл бұрын
theirs also nearly 8 billion people in the world, if even .1% of them were predators or cruel individuals you're looking at 80 million individuals. It's really not hard for news organizations or someone looking at the extreme to show something exists, and then use that as ammunition. With as many people as there are in the world, it's easier to hide your actions or be free to move on to others (an abusive relationship in a small town, dude either moves or doesn't have a relationship ever, assuming he's not involved in several bar fights for a mere existance of his actions. but in large populations those actions aren't punished simply by the society around them, and they're free to flourish as they wish. ) It becomes the other 99.9% that get punished for their actions, and news organizations and networks that make the small portion of extreme cases what they show, because it's what people watch. It plays on emotions and people are very prone to respond to something they may consider a fear in a way you want them to, than saying . . . well 99.9% of people are fine, so why don't you go ahead and sign this bill that punishes them for someone elses actions. here's a pen ty.
@Elven_Lady4 жыл бұрын
@@Kyle-jb7dc There is indeed an ease to hide among larger groups especially because they choose to abuse only behind closed doors and curtains. Meanwhile they show charisma and wonderfulness, for the most part, to the public. When someone says "oh no they're so wonderful, they couldn't possibly be abusive" think again. That person just has not seen that side of them.Most, in fact, never get abused by those abusive, toxic individuals. Most people fall for the charming act. There are also the "perpetual victim" act that some covert abusers use to get sympathy. No one that unlucky and desperate for love would ever be abusive, right? Wrong. They play on emotion to make it seem as if their victim is the crazy, emotional abuser and often trigger something called "reaction abuse" which is a true victim being so fed up and cornered that they lash out in self-defense, thus giving ammunition to the "perpetual victim" abuser to claim the victim is the abuser. It does seem that some societies have made it a point to remove natural consequences from children which in turn seems to foster the misplaced entitlement and "I can get away with anything" mentality. The idea is that in a small town, unless the "dude" (or dudette because abusers can be women as well, they simply are not seen that way: "oh he must have deserved it" type double-standard), they will simply manipulate the crowd onto their side and not actually pay for the abuse. Did I not mention "abuse" is not limited to physical beatings and rapes? It is emotional, mental, financial, religious, etc. Often times if they leave no marks, there is little to no proof of abuse. Then it's the victim/survivor who must move away because the town has been turned against them, even if many of that town are generally nice people. Fear is not the only emotion played with, I assure you. Sympathy, kindness, love (how many have swindled someone out of money by claiming love?), etc.
