I know it's 4 years ago, but I get it. I love climbing but when the fear kicks in it's brutal. Fear & vertigo is even worse. Keeping moving is hard as fook.

Just saw this, I know its from last year but , I've mountaineered a lot in my time and when I first started I cack'd it a few times on some nasty routes, vertigo is an SOB, thanks for having the honesty / stones to admit you didn't want to carry on with it. I hope you conquer your fear of it someday, there's nothing like the feeling of making it to the summit of something treacherous. Stay safe :)
