For the PS3 it’s pretty common dust gets into the laser lens in the disc drive and then transfers into those line formations on the discs.

Worked at a mom and pop game store for about 5 years - those smudges on the ps3 discs are common, usually caused by the rollers or something in the disc drive as the games ejected. Seen lots of dusty discs too from where people would just take them out and lay them upside down on their console. Nice group of games! :)

Collector John video on a Friday = perfection. John, my local Walmart is preparing for a remodel and they have clearances out a ton of games in preparation. I’ve bought ps5/4, switch, Xbox games - some newer, some older basically for about $10 a piece! - just sharing collector to collector! Lol

Full transparency thing that I didn't include in the video: I picked up this lot last year before the Xbox 360 price spikes and didn't get around to going through everything and making a video until now lol. I still knew at the time that it was a good deal, but Xbox 360 games getting hot a month after I bought it made this a lot more attractive

I get hyped when I see a new Collector John video pop up in my notifications. You're the type of collector I strive to be. I tend to set aside things that I'd like to trade in to recover some of the money spent on various lots, but I never get around to it. I end up trading my duplicates to friends that collect games, but I really like the way you instantly convert the duds to things you're excited about. someone correct me if im wrong but i think the xbox 360 version of that king kong game (i have the ps2 version) enabled the first xbox 360 mod, because something about the game allowed you to exploit the xbox 360 software to get unsigned code to run

I Never played god of war except maybe a demo of one or 2. My memory of that game was working at gamestop and making some really cool custom art for the pre order and it got shared throughout the district. As i was Going to school for graphic design. Need for speed MostWanted 2 is the best! Its how i got into my favorite band Celldweller along with playing crackdown.

I wash discs with liquid soap or washing up liquid under the tap, I've never had any issues doing that, I wouldn't use isopropanol just to clean, it melts the surface thats why all these disc cleaner systems contain it melt off the light surface scratches.

I have always put a bit of tap water on disc. Spread around with fingers. Then dry softly with Kleenex. Been doing it since PS1 and have never had a single issue.
